📄Resume Building Workshop📄

Lander Support is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a dedicated Employment & Volunteering Support Day for our clients.

This day will focus on assisting participants to develop the skills and confidence required to pursue volunteering opportunities and paid employment.

On the day, we will provide structured, one-on-one and small group support to:
• Create or update a professional resume
• Develop a personalised cover letter
• Identify suitable volunteering and employment opportunities
• Learn basic job application skills
• Discuss workplace expectations and presentation

Our goal is to empower participants to take positive steps toward community participation, independence, and meaningful engagement through work or volunteering.

This initiative aligns with many participants NDIS goals around capacity building, community access, skill development, and employment pathways.

Further details including the date, time, and location will be provided shortly. If you or someone you know would benefit from attending, or would like to discuss suitability, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We look forward to supporting participants in building confidence and expanding their opportunities.

💦 Join us for a fun and refreshing morning at Highfields Pool on the 27th of February! This is a great opportunity for clients to enjoy swimming, social interaction, and outdoor recreation in a supportive environment. 💦

Please note:
Clients are required to pay their own entry fee upon arrival.
Clients may purchase food and drinks from the pool canteen at their own expense.
Landers will also be hosting a sausage sizzle, available for a $2 purchase per sausage on bread.

General Admission Fees:
Adult: $6.30
Concession: $5.25
Child: $5.25
Non-swimming spectator: $2.00
Companion Card Holders: FREE

What to Bring:
Swimmers
Towel
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.)
Water bottle
Money for pool entry and optional food purchases

Supervision & Safety
Support staff will be present to provide appropriate supervision and assistance throughout the event. Please ensure staff are informed of any medical needs, allergies, or additional support requirements prior to the day.
