Exciting News — We’re Expanding Our Services!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Nursing Services, now available to our clients. This is an exciting milestone for our team as we continue to grow and provide more comprehensive, person-centred support.

Please join us in welcoming Jacinta, who joins our team as a Clinical Nurse with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Jacinta moved to Toowoomba five years ago with her husband, and together they have a busy two-year-old son who keeps them on their toes.

With over a decade of experience in the nursing industry, Jacinta’s journey began through volunteering with a disability day program, where she discovered her passion for supporting people to live meaningful lives. She continued building her experience while working as a pharmacy dispensary technician before completing her Certificate III in Aged Care and Home & Community Care. From there, she progressed through her Diploma and Bachelor of Nursing, working across aged care, community support, and hospital settings.

Jacinta brings extensive clinical experience across multiple areas including palliative care, rehabilitation, medical/surgical, cardiac, and emergency nursing. Her knowledge, combined with her dedication to person-centred care, makes her a valuable addition to our team.

Recognising the growing need for skilled nursing support in the community—particularly for people living with disability and chronic illness—Jacinta reached out to join our organisation and is excited to help establish and grow our nursing services.

💙 About the Role

You’ll be supporting amazing people to live independently and reach their goals — whether that’s community access, personal care, daily living support, transport, skill development or just being a steady presence in their life.

💡 We’re Looking For People Who:

• Actually show up (yes, that matters 😉)

• Write proper shift notes (no “see yesterday”)

• Understand professional boundaries

• Can think on their feet

• Are calm in a crisis

• Are team players

🎓 Essentials:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

• Blue Card

• First Aid & CPR

• Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with complex behaviours

• Mental health experience

• Manual handling skills

• A sense of humour

Our hearts are heavy as we hold close all those affected by the tragic events at Bondi Beach. To the lives lost, the families and friends grieving unimaginable pain, and to everyone whose sense of safety has been shaken — we send our deepest love and condolences.

We honour the courage of first responders and everyday heroes who acted with bravery and compassion in the face of fear. May those who were injured find healing, and may those who are grieving feel surrounded by care, strength, and support.

In moments like this, words feel small, but our solidarity is strong. We stand together in sorrow, in kindness, and in hope — holding space for healing and for one another. 💔
