TCSS Admin Team Catch up!

Our admin team came together today not just for team building, but to stay connected and updated on the important work happening behind the scenes.

Amanda shared updates on how our participants are going, Pat filled us in on how rostering is tracking for both staff and participants, and Franky… well, Franky did an excellent job keeping the admin team busy by finding us more jobs to do 🤣

It’s always valuable when we take the time to align, support one another, and make sure our processes are running smoothly. Strong communication keeps our service consistent, responsive, and centred on the people we support.

Grateful for this team and the effort everyone puts in each day ❤️

Our support worker Cazza "aka Kang" received this heartfelt little note from one of our client’s families while they were visiting.

Gestures like this remind us why we do what we do. Real connection, genuine kindness, and the privilege of supporting people in their everyday lives.

A huge thank you to Ash & Maddy for taking the time to share their appreciation. And a big shout out to Cazza for the compassion, respect, and care you bring to your role every day. We acknowledge, we appreciate.

John’s Christmas lights are officially packed away. Wrapped, stacked, and shoved back into storage like a festive game of Tetris. We survived the heat, the cord tangles that definitely multiplied when no one was watching, and the grand trek through the garden beds that felt like Survivor Christmas Edition.

A massive thank you to everyone who brought their families, wandered through the display, and shared the Christmas magic with John. Your visits make every sweaty, scratchy, tangled moment worth it.

John won’t be doing lights for 2026. We’re giving both him and the cords a well earned break but keep an eye on our page. The next display will be worth the wait ✨

💙✨ Today, on International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Toowoomba Care Support Services pauses with gratitude and respect. This day is not only about awareness, it’s about honoring the dignity, resilience, and everyday courage of people living with disabilities.

Recognized worldwide since 1992 by the United Nations General Assembly, and supported by organizations such as UNESCO and the World Health Organization, this day reminds us that inclusion is not an act of kindness, but a commitment to justice and belonging.
