Savvy Audiology is passionate about supporting patients who have undergone cancer treatment. Being well informed ensures the best chance at improved quality of life into survivorship.

Examples include both short & long term lymphoedema after breast cancer surgery, chronic kidney disease after nephrectomy and difficulties with swallowing & taste sensation after head & neck cancer surgery. Both patients & carers are impacted by the side effects of cancer treatment. Being prepared & educated will help support those living beyond curative treatment.

We often have patients phone enquiring about audiology costs. Savvy Audiology believes in transparency & always discusses your individual circumstances. Free hearing screenings are a great first step for many individuals seeking a brief overview of their hearing. This is not a diagnostic audiological assessment, however, and as such does not attract an out of pocket cost. Similarly, anyone who comes to our clinic with significant hearing loss and complex medical needs is referred to the government-funded service that supports this specific group. We provide ethical, honest advice at all times. We welcome your email or phonecall if you are seeking clarification about cost of services, devices or referral pathways for both adults & children.
