Seven and a half hours. One mountain. Infinite strength discovered. 💪🏔️

Mt Barney tested everything we had. This wasn't a gentle bush walk—this was a full mountain climb. Arms pulling us up rock faces, knees bracing against ledges, every muscle working to reach the top.

And when we did? We walked through clouds at the summit like we'd entered another world. Misty, ethereal, unforgettable.

These women trained for months to get here. They showed up for themselves, pushed past doubt, and summited together. There's a kind of power that comes from doing hard things—it changes you from the inside out. These ladies are absolute warriors. 🔥

Back at base, we refueled with incredible food (all the choices: gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian—and somehow still the most delicious, nutrient-dense meals) while gazing at the mountain we'd just conquered.

Then came the sweet recovery: yoga, breathwork, foam rolling, meditation... all with the cutest audience of pretty-faced wallabies watching on. Some ladies then chose afternoon naps, others wandered through the nearby stream.

This is what retreat looks like when it's real—when it challenges you, transforms you, and reminds you what you're capable of.

The human body is incredible.

As a coach working with muscles every day, the Body World exhibition was fascinating.

We have freedom to choose to move our bodies to create happiness.

1️⃣ It starts with this awareness.
2️⃣ Our mind chooses contentment and gratitude.
3️⃣ Then it reminds us how beautiful it feels to move our body.

We are wonderfully made.

Plot twist: Sometimes even trainers have 'those' workouts! 😅

Swipe to see my single-arm rows where my form decided to take a little vacation. Notice how my torso is doing its own thing instead of staying rock solid? That's me accidentally turning this into a full-body compensation party instead of isolating my lats like I should be!

Real talk - we ALL have days when fatigue kicks in and our form gets a little... creative. The key is recognizing it (hello, video evidence! 📹).

I'm a fan of variations, but for conventional single-arm rows: Keep that core tight, torso still as a statue, and let your lats do the talking. Your back will thank you, and you'll actually target what you're trying to work!

🏋️‍♀️seat set to high
🏋️‍♀️feet hip width and as high as possible
🏋️‍♀️engage core, pelvic floor and lats
🏋️‍♀️push with glutes
🏋️‍♀️its a small move so 30 REPS on this one

My go-to: 5x5 Single RDL at a heavy weight
👟 creates shape in the back of the body
👟 lifts the b***y
👟 reduces cellulite
👟 but most of STRENGTH!!! Makes everything better... less injuries, increased confidence, longevity etc

3 tips to an injury free deadlift - especially for the mamas!

➡️ Complete a mental check list before you start:
• squeeze shoulder blades
• drag armpits down to hips to engage lats
• squeeze TA (abs below the bellybutton)
• lift pelvic floor

➡️ Once torso is set, lock it on 🔐

➡️ Hips/glutes are powerful! These muscles are used to move the bar, not your shoulders 🏋️‍♀️
