Spring has well and truly sprung! We hope you have the opportunity to be out and about enjoying Toowoomba's beautiful floral displays and weather.

Please find below our Chiropractor's availability for October, November and December. For clients on a monthly chiropractic adjustment, we do suggest booking in for your next 3 visits, (especially if you prefer a Saturday) as we are filling up very quickly leading to Christmas.

To Our Valued Clients,

Spring is on its way which also means, Carnival of Flowers too! The Parade this year will be held Saturday 20th September. Our office will be closed this day to allow for marshalling of parade floats and dancers in Herries and Phillip Streets.

Did you know 56% of Australians are not meeting recommended levels of physical activity?

This increasingly sedentary lifestyle is contributing to a range of spinal health concerns, with neck pain emerging as a prevalent issue.

Prolonged hours spent seated in a desk chair, followed by extended periods of inactivity and screen time like gaming or binge watching, can result in poor posture and weight gain, exacerbating musculoskeletal disorders like neck pain.

Adjust your thinking and join the National Spinal Health Week ‘Movement’ (26 May – 1 June) to get the heads up on tech neck.

Spinal Health Week Online Competition from the Australian Chiropractors Association

Enter our SHW online competition (https://www.chiropractors.org.au/spinal-health-week-online-competition) by simply telling us in 50 words or less ‘how chiropractic care has helped relieve your neck pain or tech neck symptoms’ for your chance to win a Flight Centre gift card valued at $1,000! As a condition of entry participants must also be following our Consult a Chiro Facebook and Instagram pages.

The competition runs from Monday 14 April to Monday 2 June 2025 and the winner will be notified on Monday 9 June 2025.

26th May to 1st June is the Australian Chiropractors Association Spinal Health Week. A week dedicated to educating and raising awareness on the importance of spinal health and the benefits of seeking guidance from a chiropractor.

This year's theme is a topic suitable to everyone connected with technology - "Heads up on Tech Neck".

What is tech neck?
Tech neck is the informal term used to describe Tension Neck Syndrome (TNS), a spine related musculoskeletal
disorder (MSD) also referred to as ‘text neck’ that’s common in children and young people

Over the next week or so, we will be sharing information to assist everyone in the prevention of Tech Neck and posture related concerns.

For children 12yrs and under, there are two exciting competitions - colouring in (entries available in our centre) and an online public competition with fantastic prizes up for grabs!

To our wonderful Clients, thank you for your patience. Please find below our Chiropractor's availability for March and April.

Please note, the Toowoomba Show Holiday falls on the 28th of March, and we will be extending our appointment calendar either side of the holiday to accommodate any clients needing an adjustment. April also has quite a few public holidays with Easter and ANZAC Day so please keep that in mind when booking your appointments.
