Did the Easter Bunny come? He sure did at BigDog Day Service! 🐰💛

We’ve had such an amazing week full of Easter fun, smiles, laughter, and celebrations with our BigDog crew. It’s been a beautiful week making memories together and enjoying all the excitement that Easter brings.

We would like to wish all of our BigDog families a very Happy Easter.

We hope you all enjoy a safe, happy, and relaxing long weekend with your loved ones.

🐶Toowoomba Day Service 🐶🍀

What a fun-filled week we’ve had! We kicked things off in style celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with plenty of laughs, good vibes, and a splash of green all around.

To top it all off, we got creative with some awesome Easter crafts, showing off our artistic skills and getting into the festive spirit. Along with our food crafts. Yummo

From sleek hot rods to head-turning classics, there’s something for every car lover!
Plus… you can’t go wrong with a sausage sizzle and a chat 😁

(This is a community event - EVERYONE WELCOME)

💰Entry is just a $2 donation, helping support our veterans with free allied health services.

We started the week at the local library 📚 where the group spent time exploring books, reading quietly to themselves and also reading to each other. It was great to see everyone sharing stories, helping each other choose books and dvds.
We finished the week with an exciting adventure to the Capricorn Caves 🦇As we made our way through the cave system, the group showed fantastic teamwork, encouraging one another, helping each other navigate the paths, and celebrating together as we explored the depths of the caves. It was a great opportunity to build confidence, support each other, and share a unique experience as a group.
Another week full of connection, teamwork and great memories!

🐶Toowoomba Day Service🐶
We started the week with some wet weather, so we stayed cosy indoors and spent time hanging out with our Easter friends.
Midweek we headed out for fresh haircuts, enjoyed lunch together, and showed off our karaoke skills.
To finish the week we went bowling and stopped by our favourite lolly shop for a sweet.

This week has been a very active and fun filled one for our Day Service group!
We kicked things off with a trip to the beach to hit some golf balls at the driving range, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Midweek we attended our regular bowling outing, where everyone had a great time playing together, cheering each other on, and socialising within the community.
To wrap up the week, we spent the afternoon at the local basketball courts. Everyone got involved, shooting hoops, kicking the footy, and even having a few running races. It was fantastic to see so much energy, teamwork, and laughter from the whole group! 🏀⛳️

🐶Toowoomba Day Service🐶
We had an absolute blast doing some EPIC science experiments with mini eruptions that were exploding everywhere! 🌋🧪 Watching those tiny volcanoes bubble, fizz and erupt was next-level awesome – there were big reactions, lots of laughs, and maybe a few “whoa!!” moments too. Science has never been this exciting!

🐶Toowoomba Day Service🐶

We kicked things off with an amazing week with a big morning tea — the food was delicious, the laughs were flowing, and the company was even better.

Then we headed out for a day trip to Cooby Dam for some fishing and a BBQ. The fish may not have been biting (not one caught!), but the fun definitely was. Fresh air, great food, and even better company made it a perfect day out.

To top off the week, we turned up the music for karaoke and dancing. There were some serious superstar performances and plenty of moves on the dance floor.

🐶Toowoomba Day Service 🐶
Up, Up and Away! ✈️🐶
Last week I flew up to Rockhampton to hang out with the Rocky Day Service crew and WOW – what a time! It was so good catching up with old friends and making some awesome new ones too. You guys are legends!
A big warm welcome to Julia 👋 we’re so happy to have you join the team!
Then it was straight back to Toowoomba where we got busy… working hard at playing 😉 We headed out for a Pizza Hut lunch (because balance 😂🍕) and let’s just say no one left hungry!
We also had our lovely friend Tanya from Toowoomba Police come in for a chat about personal safety. The crew asked some great questions and learned some really important tips – all while having a few laughs along the way.
Another big, busy, fun week at TDS 💛
