It is advisable that you clean your tubing thoroughly on a weekly basis. A drop of dishwashing liquide and this tubing brush should do the trick.

Check your tubing weekly for mould - especially the ends.

Also, if you have pets in the house, you should check weekly that there are no tiny little holes from claws or teeth.
