Keeping your NDIS account and information safe

NDIS have made changes to how they confirm your identity when you interact with the NDIS.

From 10 November, if you need to change your email address or mobile number, they will send you a one-time code. They will also send a confirmation message to both your old and new contact details.

These are extra security measures to make sure someone can't change your details without your consent.

When you log into the NDIS app or portal, they now check that your personal details match the information you use for other government services, like myGov.

If you haven't linked another government service like Medicare or Centrelink to your myGov account, they might ask you to do this.

Doing this doesn't give NDIS access to the information you share with those services. This is another way they are making sure that your NDIS account is secure.

You might see pop-up messages in the app or portal asking you to check your personal details to secure your account. These messages will explain what you need to do.

🎨 What a brilliant day out yesterday as part of our social and community support — we had the pleasure of attending the Banksy Art Exhibition on Queen Street, Brisbane!

Banksy, the globally celebrated (and still anonymous!) street artist, activist, and filmmaker, is known for his bold, witty, and thought-provoking creations that challenge convention and spark conversation. His iconic stencilling and powerful messages made the exhibition a truly memorable experience, igniting creativity and reflection among all who joined.

After soaking in the art, we kept the good vibes going with a stroll through the Queen Street Markets — indulging in delicious food, browsing local crafts, and enjoying lively entertainment.

It was a day filled with art, culture, connection, and great company — everything our social and community outings are all about.

Keep an eye out for our next adventure — we’d love to see you there!

Small Steps, Big Wins 🐝

This is what community looks like - connection, support, and the space to grow.

With the right support and a caring team, one client has gone from needing daily help to living more independently — and feeling connected to their community.

It's the small steps that made a big difference. 💛
