“Former federal Labor MP Craig Thomson has been jailed for four years for his role in a multi-million dollar visa fraud scheme and fraudulently receiving COVID-era payments.

In handing down his sentence, Judge Robert Newlands SC told the Sydney District Court that Thomson took money from people looking for visas even though he was not a registered migration agent.

The court heard he acted as a middle man while those applying for a visa could have gone straight to a migration agent.

He charged visa applicants up to $50,000 to assist with their applications, regardless of their outcome.

Judge Newlands said the offending took advantage of a system that involved self-reporting and trust.

"[Applicants] thought they were dealing with a skilled and trusted official," he said.

"The applicants were unaware of the fraud."

How many other rorts are going on in the immigration industry whereby shonky middle men are selling access to visas?

And why does the government implement a scheme that involves self reporting and trust?

Is it because the bureaucrats are too lazy to do their job and properly screen visa applications?

I suspect this example is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to corruption in the visa processing industry.

Last night the price of silver crossed the $100USD per ounce threshold.

After decades of being heavily suppressed by banks using paper shorts, silver like gold has broken free of the market makers. I.e. banks.

This is a very strong signal that the U.S. bond market and currency is under severe stress.

Silver has always been the preferred metal of the anti banking establishment.

The most famous proponent of silver was William Jennings Bryan, a former U.S. presidential candidate.

In 1896 William Jennings Bryan gave his Cross of Gold speech. It was the culmination of a decade worth of political debate over whether or not private banks should control the printing press.

Bryan and his followers wanted silver to be part of the legal tender to weaken the control that private banks would have if only gold was used to back the greenback.

Bryan lost his campaign to McKinley and the fight for a bimetallic standard was lost.

Ultimately private banks would win the day in 1913 and gain complete control over the US and eventually the world’s monetary supply, with the creation of the misleadingly named Federal Reserve.

Bryan was to be immortalised in a novel by Frank Baum called the Wonderful Wizard of OZ.

He was cast as the Lion, (Bryan rhymes with lion) Dorothy represented the American People, the Tin Man represented the worker and the Scarecrow represented the Farmer.

Dorothy wore silver shoes in the novel, not ruby as portrayed in the movie and the yellow brick road represented gold.

The Emerald city represented the greenback and the Wizard of Oz represented central banks, hiding behind a curtain that once pulled back would be exposed as a fraud.

It’s no coincidence that the US is sabre rattling more and more. Ultimately reserve currencies have to be backed by military strength to force countries into buying the currency. This is turn funds the military used to defend it.

In his “A chance for peace” speech Eisenhower referred to a cross of iron, implying that the power of the banks and the military were intertwined.

While gold and silver bugs may be celebrating the price breakout, we should be careful what we wish for.

These prices signal rocky times ahead for the both world peace and prosperity.

Australia is going to need politicians at the helm who understand global capital markets more than ever to ride the upcoming turbulence out.

“The Albanese government will use a productivity summit to create consensus around a new economic agenda that includes tax reform, deregulation and streamlined major project approvals.

But it has ruled out entertaining any changes to its industrial relations laws.

Business and employer groups cautiously welcomed the initiative which would bring together business, union and civic leaders in August but warned the government would need to pay heed to their ideas.

The groups felt used by the government at the Jobs and Skills summit in 2022 when it produced a raft of changes to reregulate the IR system, which business did not agree with and argued would stifle productivity.”

After almost 30 years in parliament you would think Albanese would know what he is doing by now wouldn’t you.

People First being the minor party with major solutions, wouldn’t need to hold a productivity talk fest because we already have the know-how to address Australia’s slowing economy. These are:

1) Lower income taxes
2) Less bureaucracy by eliminating the duplication of government departments between the State and Federal government
3) No subsidies for renewables
4) Voluntary superannuation
5) Flexible childcare support
6) An Infrastructure bank to fund Infrastructure
7) A public bank to help small businesses
8 )A Government Insurance office to lower the cost of Insurance
9) The elimination of tax loopholes and higher taxes on profits sent offshore
10) A higher GST reporting threshold
11) Remove barriers on small businesses being able to engage in collective bargaining.
12) Lower immigration and restrictions on foreign ownership.
13) The facilitation of apprenticeships.

A MESSAGE FOR A PEACEFUL JOYFUL CHRISTMAS

Looking ahead to Christmas next week, we (Leonie David & Myra Sri), noted that though there is an increase in Light and increased energetic and consciousness shifts, the dark hasn’t quite finished its doggedness in causing chaos on this Planet and this plane. It’s intention for December 24, Christmas Eve, is to corrupt and contaminate the joy, happiness and family sharing along with the true meaning of Christmas.
As it has already become an indulgence and the origins of Christmas confused and replaced with a false god of consumerism, we need to return to the real message of Love, gratitude and appreciation.
The prayer below was channeled to us through our connection to higher Spirit and Lord Jesus to halt the planned hijacking of Peace of the Human Family and the harnessing of the energy and innocence of children.
With a raised consciousness, we CAN stand IN the Light and FOR the Light to do our own bit to assist the Higher Divine Powers to bring about the freedom that we as evolving Souls seek for this Planet.

PRAYER

May the children of this world be held in the loving arms and protection of the Blessed Mother Mary, who will keep them safe at this time of Christian, traditional, cultural & religious gatherings, rituals and celebrations.

May their prayers of the belief in the Santa Claus that has been in these rituals for many years be acknowledged by goodness and light. Let them not be redirected, hijacked or harnessed by the evil ones to align them to the false portal and illusion of saint nick clause.

May the message of the real spirit of Christmas reach into the hearts of many to remind and rekindle their role of harmony, love, kindness and sharing within the human family and it’s belongingness to True Divine Creator Source.

We request the protection of Lord Michael for all Beings of Goodness and Light. May the Spirit of Divine Will and Divine Light uphold the Will of Human Consciousness to Seal the Door where evil dwells.

May there be Peace on Earth, Love and Good Will towards all creatures and beings of Good Heart and Good Soul, including the Elementals that support our nature world.
