This week we said a sad fair well to our Beautiful Miss Romana.

Miss Romana is headed on an epic Christmas adventure overseas with her family for 8weeks and on return will be returning back to her passion of stage 3 primary girls teaching and expanding into this space with more opportunities to grow.

We wish Miss Romana the very best in her future endevours and cannot thank her enough for being an invaluable addition to our team over the past year. So many children have been changed by your beautiful personality and kind/caring nature. 🥰

🎃 Halloween Week 👻

What a blast 💥 of a week of Kids Yoga….

From Hornsby to Central Coast, Lake Macquarie to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley to Singleton- our little Yogi’s had one of the best weeks of the year with our ATB “This is Halloween” yoga club theme!!! (I surprise myself sometimes with my lesson plan awesomeness!!!)

Witches 🧙 to Spiders 🕷️
🦴 Skeletons and Black Cats 🐈‍⬛
Howling Wolves 🐺 at the Full Moon 🌕
🦇 Bats plus Snakes 🐍
Pumpkins 🎃 and Haunted Houses 🏚️
Ghosts 👻 plus plenty of Spider 🕸️ Webs

Each lesson was jam packed with fun.
Some of my special little kids classes even got to practice their trick or treating ready for tonight….

“Nothing beats bringing fun and joy to our preschool and Day Care classrooms each week!!!” 🥳

Big shout out to Miss Kaycie (pictured with me) and Miss Romana who are my yoga partners in crime and together we make up the faces behind ATB kids yoga!!!

🌻 Here is just a small look at our very First and very successful Educator Wellness (Yoga) Session.

A few weekends back, the legendary educators .hornsby and I dove right into the most awesome Saturday morning session.

With breathing, yoga for strength and release, partner yoga for bonding and group activities for insane fun, we flexed and stretched our way through with loads of laughter and encouragement from all.

The way this group came together, shared and stretched out of their comfort zones during the session was just a reminder of how important it is to look after ourselves and esp those who look after our little humans!!!

We ended on a very emotionally charged experience, where the universe delivered a secret message via way of an individual affirmation, selected personally by each by chance… Each of our educators had a strong reaction to the message they received and my heart nearly burst.

What a beautiful way to reward your hard working staff- thank you Karissa and Binali for arranging this special day with me. 💞💖

🌻I don’t often ask clients/ or people for feedback or reviews as such (clearly 2024😝), because it steals time away from their busy day.

But as they remind me when I do, that for all the work I do for them and the energy I pour into the kids- it’s the least they can do.

I have been working with the incredible women and children at over the past few years and they absolutely love what fun and learning I bring to the rooms each week…. And this year has been no different 🥰. Coming into term 4 with plenty of fun themes such a Halloween, witches and wizards, pirate treasure hunts, cheeky hiding elves, and of course Christmas….. I cannot wait.

So blessed to be so valued for what I love to do! 🍒

😜So excited for my first (of many) Child Care Educator (yoga) ‘Wellness Sessions’

A mix of self-regulation breathing, yoga, meditation and a whole lot-a team building fun is on the menu for tomorrow morning at ☀️Little Zak's Academy.

Cannot wait to spoil these incredible humans, who are devoting their careers to teaching our young generation great values, strengths and resilience.

🌺 Happy 3 Years to me….

I have been running ‘A Twisted Balance’ Yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ for 4 or 5 years (I honestly can’t think which one- feels like forever in my perfect place)…… for 3 glorious years I have been changing lives in preschools and day care centres 📚.

🥹 Seeing the impact yoga, breathing and imagination has had over the years on self regulation, happiness and connection in young kids has been the most powerful impact on me.

I am so blessed to do what I do. 🙏🏼 Thank you to all those who not only support my work with kids, but those kids you are supporting at the same time- are becoming stronger, more resilient and it makes a huge difference for the rest of their lives 🩵🩷💛🧡🤍
