Booking a physio appointment shouldn’t feel intimidating!

If you’ve ever avoided physio because you were worried you’d be told to stop training, rushed through an appointment, or handed generic exercises, you’re not alone.

At Toronto Health, our approach is simple:
• We listen
• We assess properly
• We modify, not shut things down
• We give you a clear plan forward

Physio isn’t about “fixing” you in one session.
It’s about understanding what’s going on and building confidence in your body again.
If you’ve been putting it off, this is your sign. Book an initial physio assessment online or DM us “PHYSIO” and we’ll help you get started! ’sHealth

Not all back pain needs treatment.
But some absolutely does.

Here are 5 signs it’s time to get assessed 👇
• Numbness or tingling
• Night pain or strong morning stiffness
• Recurrent flare-ups
• Pain lasting longer than 1 week
• Pain disrupting work, training, or sport

If you’re ticking boxes here, it’s not about “pushing through”.
Early assessment = clearer answers + faster progress.

If you tick 1 or more of these boxes, book an initial physio appointment and let’s get ahead of it. Mention the code ‘BACKPAIN20’ in your booking comments to receive $20 off your first appointment!

Lower back pain doesn’t automatically mean you need to stop moving.
Here’s what you can do today 👇

• Keep moving – gentle walking or light activity beats bed rest
• Use heat to help reduce muscle guarding
• Gentle mobility (think pain-free range, not forcing stretches)

Complete rest often makes back pain stick around longer.
Your spine likes movement. The goal is to keep things calm, not shut everything down.

If your back pain has been hanging around longer than 3–5 days, book an assessment so we can figure out why it’s there and guide you properly. Mention the code ‘BACKPAIN20’ in the comments when booking in to receive $20 OFF your first appointment!

If you’ve ever been told:
“Don’t train while it hurts”
“Just rest and see how it goes”
“You’ll never be the same again”

This one’s for you.

Pain is information, not a sentence.
With the right guidance, you can keep moving, keep training, and rebuild confidence, not lose it.

Functioning isn’t the same as flourishing.

If lately every small thing feels overwhelming, your mind never slows down, or you’re “getting by” but not really enjoying life, it might be time to talk.

Seeing a psychologist isn’t a failure.

It’s a step out of survival mode and towards feeling clearer, calmer, and more present.
Your first session can be as simple as a conversation about what’s going on and what you’d like to work on.

Injury myths keep people stuck longer than the injury itself!

Pain isn’t a stop sign.
Rest isn’t always the answer.
And training doesn’t need to disappear just because something hurts.

Good rehab is about understanding pain, modifying load, and building capacity, not wrapping yourself in bubble wrap.

If you’ve been told to stop everything… it might be time for a second opinion.
Train smarter. Rehab with intent. The team at Toronto Health is here to help.

Stress fractures rarely come from one big moment.
They usually build quietly over time, when training load, recovery, footwear, nutrition, or biomechanics aren’t quite lining up.

What often starts as a “niggle” or mild ache can slowly progress into persistent pain, swelling, or a noticeable drop in performance. And because symptoms can ease with rest, many people push through… until they can’t.

The good news?
When caught early, stress fractures can often be managed effectively with the right load modification, rehabilitation, and a structured return-to-activity plan.

If you’re dealing with ongoing pain, tenderness in one specific spot, or discomfort that keeps returning when you train it’s worth getting it checked!
