🏆 We Won! Community Partner of the Year 2025

Awarded by the Mai-Wel Group

Our Community Gym was honoured on Friday night to receive the Community Partner of the Year award from the Mai-Wel Group — and I’m incredibly proud to share this moment with you.

For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting Mai-Wel clients through special-needs fitness sessions that focus on movement, confidence, connection and fun.
Seeing their courage, growth, personality, and willingness to try new things has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

This award isn’t just mine — it belongs to every participant, parent, carer and support worker who has trusted me with their clients’ wellbeing.
It also reflects the heart of Elevate Esteem Training: creating safe, inclusive spaces where people of all abilities can feel stronger, more capable, and more connected — inside and out.

Thank you to the Mai-Wel Group for recognising the importance of adaptive, accessible fitness, and for the opportunity to be part of your community.

Starting something new can feel overwhelming — especially when living with Parkinson’s.
That’s why we’re offering a private introductory session for just $15 (the group rate) to help you experience the program at your own pace, without any pressure.

Today we welcomed Phillip for his first $15 intro session — and he did incredibly well.
He took his time, learned the movements, asked questions, and walked out more confident than he walked in.

If you want to become a great tennis player, swimming five days a week won’t get you there — even if you work incredibly hard.
Why?
Because success isn’t just about how much effort you put in…
It’s about whether that effort is aligned with the result you want.

In fitness, wellbeing, confidence, or life in general:

At Elevate Esteem Training, we offer movement-based programs designed for people who need a calm, supportive, and confidence-building space — not a big, overwhelming gym.
Here are two programs currently running in the Lake Macquarie & Central Coast areas:

A small, structured, non-contact boxing program designed to help young people:

Not every teen feels confident stepping into a sports team…
Not every teen feels comfortable in busy environments…
And not every teen needs “more pressure” — they need support, structure, and a safe place to build confidence.

That’s exactly why our Teen Anxiety Boxing Program exists.

Our sessions are designed specifically for teens who experience:
💭 Anxiety
💭 Low confidence
💭 Social overwhelm
💭 Difficulty with traditional sport environments

In this program, teens learn how to:
