We’re incredibly proud to share that last night Elevate Esteem Training won the 2026 Lake Mac Award for Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion at the annual awards night held at Belmont 16 ft club.

This recognition reflects the diverse community we work alongside every week — supporting people living with Parkinson’s, individuals with special needs, seniors, and teens and adults experiencing anxiety through structured, confidence-focused fitness programs. Creating environments where people feel safe, supported and capable of progress is at the heart of everything we do.

Every person who walks through the door brings their own challenges, strengths and goals, and it’s a privilege to support that journey.

Thank you to everyone who trains with us, trusts us, and contributes to the culture we’re building.

We’ve put together a short information pack explaining how our Parkinson’s-inclusive fitness program works — focusing on trust, confidence, and supportive movement.

Our approach is built around creating an environment people feel comfortable returning to, recognising individual strengths, and gently building confidence over time.

A Special Shout-Out to Phil & Margaret

I'd like to give a special mention to Phil, one of our Parkinson’s clients, who continues to show up consistently with commitment and determination each week.

Phil’s positive attitude and willingness to keep challenging himself are a powerful reminder that progress often comes from simply turning up and giving it a go — even on the tougher days. It’s a privilege to support Phil as he works on improving movement, strength, coordination, and confidence through his Program.

And as the saying goes, behind every good man is a good woman. Phil’s wife, Margaret, has been a rock-solid support throughout his journey. Her encouragement, involvement, and trust in the program have played a huge role in helping us shape and adapt the training to achieve the progress Phil has made.

Thank you, Phil and Margaret, for trusting the process and being such valued members of our community — your efforts and support do not go unnoticed.

Lake Mac Awards - 2026 Finalist

I’m happy to share that we have been selected as a finalist in the Lake Mac Awards – Contribution to Diversity & Inclusion category. The category represents our work with our Seniors, Teen Anxiety, Home Schoolers, Special Needs & our Parkinsons Program

This recognition reflects the effort and support from everyone involved. The quality of sessions can only be achieved when you have those involved passionate about helping others by creating inclusive, accessible fitness opportunities.

I wish to personally thank Stu and Peter who turn up to sessions with enthusiasm, compassion and empathy, this is reflected in the respect and results they achieve from the clients they work with. I would also like to thank the various clients, families, and community groups who continue to place their trust in this work. Being part of such a supportive Lake Macquarie community means a great deal.

👵 SENIORS FITNESS & MOVEMENT PROGRAM - $10

Staying active doesn’t have to be intimidating — and it doesn’t have to feel like a gym.

Our Seniors Fitness sessions are designed to support older adults with balance, coordination, mobility and confidence in a calm, welcoming environment. Sessions are adaptable to all abilities, with a strong focus on feeling safe, supported and capable in everyday movement.

Fitness is a bonus — confidence, independence and connection are the goal.

🧠 Teen Anxiety Boxing Fitness – Building Confidence Through Movement

Our Teen Anxiety Boxing program is designed for young people who may struggle with anxiety, low confidence, or feeling overwhelmed in group settings.

Sessions use structured, low-contact boxing-style movement to help teens:
• release nervous energy
• build confidence and self-belief
• improve focus and emotional regulation
• feel comfortable being part of a group

The environment is calm, supportive and predictable — with no pressure to perform and no prior boxing experience required. Sessions are particularly well suited to non-sporty teens or those who may feel unsure in traditional sports or gym environments.

Ideal Ages: 11–14 years

Back Into Routine for 2026 – Boxing Fitness Sessions 🥊

As we start back into the year, our boxing fitness sessions are a great way to re-establish routine, rebuild momentum, and support both physical and mental wellbeing.

Sessions combine boxing-style pad work, functional movement and conditioning to improve fitness, coordination and confidence in a supportive, inclusive environment. Whether you’re returning after a break or starting fresh for the year, sessions are adaptable to different fitness levels and experience.

There’s no pressure to “pick up where you left off” — just show up and move in a way that works for you.
