Wow! What a response to our annual Customer Survey. We’re delighted to hear how happy and satisfied our residents are. What do they value most about living here? Community, inclusivity, convenience were the words used most often.

So happy to have this response from a resident: “I am very happy here. I feel very safe here. Enjoy the company of the other residents.”

Thank you Pam! Chairman Bill presented Pam with a bouquet to thank her for 6 years of service to the Village as President of the Residents Committee. Pam has been the Residents' voice at management meetings, kept the social calendar buzzing, and been the go-to person for resident welfare matters. Pam, we have loved working with you, and trust you will now take time to 'smell the roses', as well as the lovely lilies.

In National Volunteers Week we'd like to thank two volunteers with one post: Ted, Superhero Treasurer of the Residents Social Committee, and Don, Artist Extraordinaire who has been creating fantastic posters for birthday celebrations for many years. We appreciate the many tasks carried out by Ted, and really enjoy Don's graphic designs at our special events.

It's a great time of year to get out and about in Torquay with our favorite people. The holiday crowds have gone for the year, but it's still warm enough to get down to the foreshore for some fun. Loving this life!

Everyone is smiling at the Village this weekend. It rained on Thursday, so the gardens are looking fantastic. The late roses are blooming and the fig tree in the kitchen garden is loaded with fruit. Happy days ☺️
