These days, being ‘busy’ is the norm. We’re so rushed off our feet that we forget to stop and smell the roses. We forget that when we make self-care a priority, everything and everyone else in our lives benefit too. We’re nicer to our friends and family, we’re more patient and more loving. Our quality of work is much better and our health and energy soars. When we make looking after ourselves a priority, we relish in our daily lives that much more. Self-care isn’t a luxury or selfish, it’s a necessity. It’s something you need to practice every single day. Lately we’ve been reflecting more about how the simplest things in our day can become small rituals, and hand cream was one of them.
