We’ve made it to the final month of the year and as we see out 2025 we’re looking forward to supporting you to step into 2026 with fresh & grounded energy.

You might have noticed Cardio classes are back on the schedule at the Village. 🙌🏻

Why? Because cardiovascular training is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle & body.

There might be lots of noise out there about cardio & it can feel confusing to navigate. It can make approaching cardio classes overwhelming. Is it good for me? Is it important? Will it flair my stress?

The short answer - Cardio is good for you & so important for our heart & lung health!

Long answer - Guidelines for healthy exercise include 150 minutes of moderate cardio or 75 minutes of Vigorous cardio each week. For some people cardio needs to be approached mindfully, but any movement that increases your heart rate & works for you offers incredible benefits.

Cardiovascular training helps to;
- Significantly reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases
- Improve heart health & cardiovascular function
- Regulates & improves capacity for stress
- Improve mood & wellbeing
- Improves some metabolic functions
- Improve bone density & reduces risks of osteoporosis
- Is safe in pregnancy (with modifications)
- Supports healthy ageing

Healthy living means balancing the way we move and having variety in our exercise. Which is why we offer a range of classes to help you find a balance that doesn’t drain you but leaves you feeling healthy & empowered.

At the Village, our cardio classes meet you where you are meaning each class will suit your fitness level & health needs.

We know for some people approaching cardio needs consideration & intention and with our small classes sizes you’ll get to explore the right type of movement for you.

It’s time to stop avoiding cardio & let it be a fun part of your week. Our expert instructors are here to support your journey.

With 4 core, cardio & strength classes a week, we’ve got lots of option to help you meet your cardio goals.

Over the next 4 weeks we’ll be running the last of our Soft Space x Village Wellness series.

These sessions have been really special, so thank you to everyone who has shown up for themselves & these wonderful new Yin yoga teachers.

Weaving together their magic & wisdom these sessions have been grounding, nurturing & the feedback has been nothing short of incredible.

What a full week in the fitness room this week 🙌🏻

Congratulations to everyone who showed up for themselves this week, lifted heavy, moved their body & grew in confidence. Our Strength & mobility class was full this morning & we love to see our members ending their week feeling strong 💪🏼

Here’s some highlights this week from the fitness room:

• Strength Foundations Course kicked off this week & we’re so excited to see our beginners soar over the next few weeks

• Lots of fun, focus on strong foundations and getting sweaty in our cardio classes

• Members hitting PB’s in their strength classes

• Good tunes & attention to detail from our superstar Fitness Instructors

If you missed out on moving this week - Core, Cardio & Strength is on tomorrow morning, there’s still time to get your body moving.

As the end of the year approaches and life starts to feel a little fuller (how is Christmas almost here?!), here’s your gentle reminder to keep your movement practice close. Let it be the anchor that steadies you through the busy season.

It’s easy to slip yourself to the bottom of the list with social events, deadlines, and end-of-year energy, but your wellbeing matters too.

We’ve got plenty of classes and offerings on the schedule to help you stay grounded, nourished, and connected to yourself. No matter what your week looks like, there’s a class time to suit you and support the commitment you’ve already made to your health this year.

A special shout out to these incredible women who make the Village what it is! And the beautiful Jem whose presence is ever steady, magnifying & endlessly supportive.

To our Founder Tals - Your magic is infectious, your kindness is beyond & we as a community are so so grateful for you & what you have created here at the Village. We are so lucky to have such a generous & wise soul leading our community & regularly sharing your magic in classes & workshops.
