TARDISS is a local disability support service dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. TARDISS is more than just a workplace – we're a community that values individuality, diversity, and potential. We believe that the right attitude, passion, and values are just as important as skills and experience and we're looking for passionate Lifestyle Support Workers to join our Charters Towers team.
We’re looking for compassionate, driven individuals where we focus on abilities, not just qualifications. Whether you’re an experienced support worker already working in the disability sector or bringing new skills from a different field, we want to hear your story. You will assist our participants with community access and recreational activities, personal care, manual handling, transportation and social support and a range of other activities.
TARDISS recognises that everyone starts somewhere, that’s why we provide comprehensive training and mentorship for those new to the field. Our supportive environment ensures you have the tools and confidence you need to succeed, no matter your background. A range of shifts are available and competitive pay on offer dependent on experience. Are you ready to make a difference?

Tardiss Disability Ball 2025 A Night of Elegance🌟
What an amazing night had by all celebrating inclusion, diversity and individuality.

I would like to thank our amazing Charters Towers Tardiss team Service Delivery Manager Renee Smith, Support Leaders Ashlee Polinelli, Louise Polke and all support staff.

The day has finally arrived 🙌 2025 Tardiss Disability Ball Goldtower Poppethead Plaza, guests to park at the rear of Clements Medical Centre, walk down the side of Poppethead Plaza where you will be greeted by the wonderful Tardiss staff no later then 5:45pm. We have a variety of vehicles to es**rt you to the ball. The vehicles will drive out of the undercover park area at the front of Clements Medical and enter by the front of Poppethead Plaza the same as last year. Looking forward to seeing you all let's have a night to remember 🩵💙
