A simple recipe…
With a powerful history.

Originally made to travel long distances to soldiers during wartime, ANZAC biscuits have become a symbol of care, connection, and remembrance.

Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup plain flour
1 cup sugar
¾ cup desiccated coconut
125g butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp boiling water

Method:
Mix dry ingredients together.
Melt butter and golden syrup.
Add baking soda to boiling water, then combine with butter mixture.
Mix all together, roll into balls, flatten slightly.
Bake at 160°C for 10–15 minutes.
