Chrysalis Medispa is a division of Queensland Plastic Surgery located centrally in Townsville, North Queensland. Originally established in 2000 as Chrysalis Skin Technology, the clinic is still wholly owned by its founder, Dr. Mark Vucak.
We are a small team consisting of a GP with over 10 years Cosmetic Laser, Skin and Injectable experience, three Registered Nurses with both cosmetic injecting and surgical experience, two Dermal Clinicians, a Skin Therapist and Receptionist. Our staff are all Diploma or Degree qualified with years of experience in their respected fields; who frequently attend conferences, workshops, training seminars and industry events to keep up to date with industry knowledge.
Our treatments are designed to provide non-surgical, long-term solutions to issues such as ageing, pigmentation, acne, rosacea, sensitive/reactive skin, dull skin, and congested skin. We also specialise in the medical management of skin cancers and other skin conditions. In addition to these, we have a range of traditional spa services such as facials and massage. We also stock an extensive range of clinically proven peels, medical-grade energy-based devices and cosmeceutical skin care products such as Aspect Dr and Cosmedix. Likewise, our cosmetic injectables are administered using only premium world-class products with full TGA approval.
Our goal is simple - To provide patients with realistic and achievable cosmetic and skin care goals and treatments, relevant to their concerns, using evidence-based practice. We back up this vision by using a highly professional multidisciplinary approach to treatment, with each procedure or product carefully selected for efficacy, safety, and proven results. This vision, coupled with the knowledge of our team, provides our patients with an un-parallel experience and a distinct difference with the results they will achieve.
Our passion for our industry is the true secret to our success- we care about your concerns as much as you do, and are dedicated to achieving results. We will listen to your concerns and then provide you with the most realistic expectations of what can be achieved, while also offering alternatives and referring where need be. Our clinic is located on Ross River Road and offers onsite parking.
