Over the Christmas period, the Home held its annual Carpark Christmas party — and what a fantastic night it was! 🎄🎉

With music by the wonderful Trevor Owens, a delicious sausage sizzle and fairy floss, gifts from our lovely Donna Glass - Helen Munro Property, and of course a special visit from Santa 🎅, it truly felt like Christmas magic.

The smiles and laughter on the night said it all. A huge thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers who did an absolutely incredible job making the night so special ❤️👏

What started as a simple comment about a resident’s love of green olives quickly turned into a full Italian-inspired afternoon at Pinnacles 🇮🇹🫒

A suggested trip to the Ingham deli became a beautiful charcuterie experience, celebrating all things Italian. Terry, who adores Italian culture, was thrilled to share his passion alongside our very own Italian original, Val, and friends at The Good Shepherd Home.

Our catering team created a stunning spread as colourful as it was delicious — grapes, cheeses, specialty meats and more to delight Italian tastebuds. With Italian music, singing, dancing, drinks, trivia, learning to speak Italian, and plenty of laughter, it was truly an afternoon to remember.

Garth & Max’s Australia Lap continue to visit the Home regularly, and not even the Christmas celebrations stopped them from popping in! 🎄

We were honoured to welcome the Sisters of Mercy to the Good Shepherd Home for a truly special Christmas celebration 🎄 By holding their Christmas party here, two of our residents—who are also Sisters of Mercy—were able to be part of this meaningful occasion. We were delighted to share such a joyful afternoon together in the place our residents call home 💙
