CO2 laser resurfacing looks a little intense but the feedback from all patients is that it’s much easier than they expected. It still remains the most effective skin rejuvenation treatments and intensity can be tailored (low/regular/high). The weird eye shields only stay in place for a few minutes and you can’t feel them. There are used for eye protection and are only needed if you want the top eyelids treated. Many patients don’t need them. All of our doctors are available to discuss co2 laser. The photos in this post are after a low level CO2.

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) TREATMENTS

New developments show the effectiveness of PRP therapy combined with early detection and regular treatments help minimise the problems of hair thinning and hair loss by sending nutrients to the dying hair follicle. This begins rejuvenating the thinning follicles eventually controlling the hair loss issue and maximising the thickness of the existing hair follicles.

During the PRP treatment, blood is taken from the patient and is processed in a centrifuge machine and the platelets are separated, then these platelets are injected back into the areas of scalp with thinning or hair loss. The full process takes less than an hour and is considered to be an extremely safe, non-invasive procedure.
