TSMP is approaching our 60 years of supporting and delivering care to the Townsville community.
The leadership team at TSMP are committed to working on the practice and continual improvement to ensure we are here for another 60 years to come.
On the weekend we attended our annual conference with our leadership and development coaches where Dr Peter and Karlea both took home awards for their works while up against some of the absolute best GP practices from across Australia.

To give everyone plenty of notice to plan for the upcoming festive season we wanted to share our Christmas period trading hours early.
We will open for normal trade Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th of December from 8:30am - 5:30pm with appointment availability for acute needs.
The practice will then be closed from Thursday 25th through to Sunday 28th of December.
The practice will reopen on Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st of December from 8:30am - 5:30pm with appointments available for acute needs.
The practice will then be closed from Thursday 1st January 2026 - Sunday 4th, reopening for normal trade from Monday 05/01/2026 at 8:30am.
For care outside of our normal hours you can call Hello Home Doctor Service on 134 100.

Today the TSMP team came together to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast (we turned it into morning tea) with everyone contributing a plate to share. Some baked sweets, some savoury and others visiting their favourite bakery. Although, it was all so yummy we forgot to take a photo!
Our nurses led the spirit in their pink scrubs while the rest of our team have worn their pink ribbon’s today 🎀

It was a big weekend of community events for the TSMP team. On Saturday Dr Kirryn Jensen and Business Manager Karlea attended the Silver Lining Long Lunch in support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) hosted by Dr Sally Aubrey, Townsville Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Rhiannon Anderson at The Metropole Townsville.
It was a day of tears, real stories and fundraising for this very worthy cause.
With no current early detection or screening test available this awful disease is often diagnosed at stage 4. Much more funding and research is required to ensure we can change the statistics of this awful
Disease.

Last night Dr Amy Keys and our Business Manager Karlea had the pleasure of attending the Townsville Business Women's Circle bi annual awards night.
Karlea had the privilege of sitting on the judging panel for the Corporate Business Woman of the Year, after taking out the honour in 2023.
This year Dr Amy Keys had the opportunity to participate in the mentoring circles.
Great to see the Townsville business community come together to support women doing great things in our local community.

Meet Sharnah - TSMP’s Corporate Team Leader!

Did you know that TSMP had a dedicated Corporate Services Team?
Our team of Receptionists, Clinical Screeners, Doctors and Exercise Physiologists are lead by Sharnah to assist businesses with maintaining a healthy workforce and a reduction in workplace injury.

When Sharnah is not at work you’ll find her spending time with family and focused on her home renovations.
Next month Sharnah celebrates her 5th work anniversary with the TSMP team. Congratulations Sharnah 👏🏼
