Has everyone heard that we know have a Diabetes Educator on site? Appointments are available for all patients with diabetes (including patients from other clinics). Private fees apply, although Medicare rebates may be available with a referral under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan.

Diabetes Educator, CDE, RN, RM
Nicole is a Registered Nurse, Midwife and Diabetes Educator dedicated and experienced with a strong passion for empowering individuals to take control of their health. With 8 years of experience in the health care profession working as a midwife at Latrobe Regional Hospital, Nicole is now offering Diabetes Education at Family Health Traralgon.
Nicole’s own diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes in 2020 encouraged her to undertake a Certificate in Diabetes Education to ensure she was able to best manage her own health. Nicole specialises in helping patients manage Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes through evidence-based education, personalized care plans, and compassionate support.
Known for her empathetic approach and clear communication, Nicole is committed to helping individuals gain the confidence and skills needed to improve their own quality of life and achieve long-term health goals.
Outside of work Nicole enjoys keeping fit by running, going to the gym and pilates. She enjoys catching up with friends for coffee as well as spending quality time with her family.
