Well. Hello. After having a year full of hospitalisations, I’m back. Probably not at my best but on my way. I’ve thought a lot about how we go forward with illness. I’ve got to say that when I was in the midst of illness, getting through each and every day became the goal. Having pretty much recovered, I’m now planning forward with a new vigour daily and trying to pick up some of the plans of yesterday that still seem like a great idea, even if it’s just more of the things/people whos company I enjoy. Hello everyone. It’s so nice to have a few days of sunny weather. Very motivating. However, this is the easiest part of the year. The going gets tough soon when the weather and the shorter days set in. Hard to imagine, but now is the time to start planning for enjoyment in the cold months ahead; put some daffodil bulbs in, book to see a show or just get your house ready for the cold. Well here we are out of the pandemic and I know at least 3 people who have Covid 19 right now. Go figure. It’s been a long haul and all our lives have been disrupted in ways we never imagined. It does appear that we’re not out of the woods quite yet. It’s almost the second month of the year and it’s time to get cracking on that 2023 “bucket list”. Mine has a trip to Thailand, the continuing decluttering of my house and a bit more fun … trips to Melbourne for shows and shopping, drives to South Gippsland and dinners at home and out. I hope you’re year is off to a cracking start. Dr Linda 😁

We have moved!
After many happy years with the "Glentra crew", we make a new start at "63 on Argyle" at 63 Argyle St, Traralgon
this coming week: from Tuesday 20th September 2022.

We will be right opposite Growmaster in a new white and grey building. It's also in between Governor Gipps Motel and Avis/Budget Rent a car.

Our reception is in the capable hands of Jenny.

Jenny is new to Dalton Consulting Services and I hope you'll join me in giving her a warm welcome.

I thank my former colleagues who are all going on independentlv to new adventures and wish them well. I will miss them all.
A special shout-out to Fiona for her
years of support and her assistance in easing the transition to this new beginning.

I'm sure you'll like our new offices and look forward to serving you there.

Hello everyone. I inadvertently posted you a picture of my favourite city - Bangkok. I hope you enjoyed that. Bangkok is a city of 10 million. It is vibrant and modern but oriental and traditional at the same time. I’m home now but what beautiful memories. There’s a song who’s lyrics remind us to ”live a life you will remember”. This is sage advice. You don’t have to go to Thailand (although I’d recommend it) to do that. It’s almost spring. Take care. 🍀 Dr Linda.

Hello everyone. Who would have thought we’d still be battling Covid 19 in 22 and a half. I hope that you are finding ways to have a happy and fulfilling life despite it or with it. We’ve certainly had some tough times but I am pleased to see better hand hygiene and more flexibility in the workplace as some benefits out the other end. Home delivery has also changed our lives in ways we would never have imagined. Please remember to catch up with your loved ones (safely of course) and keep setting and achieving your life goals. That’s what will bring you joy in a way no amount of “doona” therapy or “pj” days will. Dr Linda 😃

Isn’t this nice? Coming out of our caves and experiencing an almost normal life again. Right now Victoria is bitterly cold but at least we are free. Free to leave our suburbs, our homes and at any time. Yey! Let’s make the most of it. Let’s gather, meet and unite. Let’s eat out and run to and from our car, let’s comment on how cold it is outside. Let’s wear those cumbersome winter clothes. I’m sure Confucius would remind us “life is short, death is long”. No time to waste. Dr Linda x

Hello there. I hope you’re all doing well. I went to a lunch with a womans group just now. Talk about chaos. Strange how popular venues have no system for large groups and wait staff ending up resorting to doing laps screaming people’s order while holding a full plate (most of the time not even knowing their name). My lunch was the last out of 50 and 2 women took theirs home in doggie bags because they’d lost their appetite. Enough of that. It’s just great being out. Lockdown still looms large in my memory so I’m trying to practice mindfulness - eating slower and taking my time. Getting a fuller experience out of daily life and forgiving the chaos. And you know what it is more enjoyable. Dr Linda x
