🌡️ Cold & Flu Season Reminder 🌡️
We’ve had an increase in patients coming in with cold and flu symptoms, which can be infectious.

🤒 If you’re feeling unwell with symptoms such as sore throat, cough, runny nose, or fever, please let our reception team know when booking your appointment.

📞 Where possible, we encourage you to consider a phone consultation instead of an in-person visit to help reduce the risk of spreading illness.

😷 If you do need to come into the clinic, please wear a mask and keep a safe distance to protect our staff, other patients, and the wider community.

Government-funded flu vaccines are now available and in stock at Mercy.

If you fall into one of the following categories, you are eligible for a free flu shot at our clinic:

- Aged 6 months and 5 years old,
- Aged 5-65 years with a chronic illness, -Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander,
- Currently pregnant,
- or 65 years and older.

Alternatively, private flu vaccines are available for $20 for those not eligible for government-funded vaccines.
