With the new year comes the rush of love way before Valentine’s Day.

It’s wonderful to hear from a number of couples looking to getting married in 2026.

With a number already booked, March is very limited for weddings for me due to CFA commitments and my own birthday.

Yes I know I don’t look anywhere near 50!

As we welcome a new year, I encourage everyone to reflect on the year that was and see what learnings can be gained from it that can help set a path for the next chapter ahead.

Some lessons will be hard, just as setting a new direction forward will be just as hard if not harder. The first step is always the most difficult but most important.

Like always remember to take time for yourself and ensure you have a self care routine in place.

The year finished off with a funeral for a friend and 2 wedding sign up meetings.

I am grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their ceremonies.

Hawaiian / Loud shirt was the order of dress for Mick’s celebration of life ceremony today at Gippsland Memorial Park Traralgon.

With my roadie (bestie, mini me) in tow who also grew up with Mick it was a fitting send off.

The deck at Dal Mondo Restaurant & Function Centre will never be the same without seeing Mick of a morning having a smoke, a coffee and watching the world go by.
