💅Carers sometimes don't see themselves as carers, and sometimes struggle to take time for their own support. Carers Week recognises the important role of carers and the support available to them. 👨‍👧‍👦

National Carers week is a chance to recognise, celebrate and raise awareness for the 3 million Australians who provide unpaid care to a loved one, family member or friend.

🤗 Carers do an amazing job. Great to know there is support for carers, when they need it.

Carers can be of any age. Children and young adults under 25 years of age are called young carers.

If you are aged 25 or under and provide unpaid care and support to a loved one, family member/s or friends, you may be able to get support.

Young carers can face many challenges. They might find it hard to:
🔎 find the services and help they need
🏫 do well at school when looking after someone else
🤝make or keep friends, or to go out and socialise.
