Last night KDSP had the pleasure of attending The Little Village dinner. It was such a great night supporting a cause that is making real impact right here in our community.

The Little Village Project is a community-led initiative helping disadvantaged primary school students in Latrobe thrive through timely, evidence-based support.

Since 2019, The Little Village Project has supported hundreds of children across 7 primary schools with direct health and education interventions.

Funds have helped pay for services like speech pathology, therapy sessions, cognitive assessments, occupational therapy, and more.

We are excited to welcome Dr Sophy Korula, Paediatric Endocrinologist and Paediatrician to Maryvale Private Hospital.

Sophy’s main aim is to provide compassionate care with clinical excellence to the children of this regional area. Sophy has a strong focus on caring for the needs of children with Paediatric endocrine disorders and diabetes. She also has immense experience in developmental and complex behavioural disorders and is keen to provide holistic treatment for children with those concerns.

Areas of specialisation include thyroid dysfunction, short stature, weight concerns, diabetes, adrenal issues, developmental and complex behavioural disorders.

With appointments available from February 2026, Sophy is now accepting referrals.

We will have capacity for new children to join The Dazzle in term 1 2026 as some of current children will be heading off to school.

Early intervention in a natural playgroup setting in Traralgon for children aged 3-5 years.

2 hour program every Friday for 8-10 sessions per term.

Small group sizes of 6-8 children.

The Dazzle is a group program where neurodivergent children from the age of 3-5 years get to engage with other children in a safe, fun and caring environment.

The Dazzle enables children to be exposed to a range of experiences that allow them to be themselves and express themselves while they learn through play.

The Dazzle offers a wide range of developmental experiences across the following domains: Sensory, Communication, Literacy, Fine Motor, Social/Emotional, Cognitive, Play, and Gross motor.

The Dazzle staff include an Early Childhood Teacher, Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and Allied Health Assistants.
