It is growth. Change. Formation.

From seeds of potential to life itself.
And the process only gets deeper, never easier.

From toddler to child to teen to adult.

Community is a verb.

Built through small, consistent actions.

Checking in, showing up, lending a hand.

It’s not something to simply desire, it is a practice…something we co create with intention and commitment.

We live in a world where individual success and personal boundaries trump everything.

But we forget that by shying away from inconvenience and prioritising our own peace and desires above all else, we not only lose our ability to build community, we lose touch with our humanity.

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to bring it back.

Modern motherhood is mostly just misplaced guilt…

We mothers carry the weight of the village, often deeply alone and isolated.

We carry the weight of expectation and tradition and stereotypes, many of which were designed by, for and to benefit men.

We carry the guilt of generations of mothers who were labelled incompetent or hysterical, when all they needed was to be held.

Taking radical personal responsibility is a part of motherhood, but this is just a gentle reminder that sometimes the things we scold ourselves for are not ours to carry.

Sometimes it’s simply the systemic failure of modern society to care for and value mothers. And it’s okay to lay that blame where it belongs, instead of internalising it and telling yourself you’re not enough.

You’re already carrying enough.

Don’t let the guilt of burdens that aren’t yours weigh you down.
