The Sydney Royal Easter Show is one of Australia’s biggest annual events, running from 2–13 April 2026 at Sydney Olympic Park and attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. It’s a great mix of agriculture, entertainment, food and carnival fun.
Some of the things happening at the show this year include:
Carnival rides and games – including new thrill rides and classic favourites like the Ferris Wheel and Super Slide.
Animal experiences – more than 13,000 animals including sheep, cows, alpacas, horses and baby animals in the Farmyard Nursery.
Agricultural competitions – including livestock judging, woodchopping competitions and horse events.
Food and produce – the Fresh Food Dome featuring Australian produce, tastings and food stalls.
Showbags and markets – hundreds of themed showbags and stalls throughout the showgrounds.
Daily entertainment – live shows, demonstrations, parades and evening fireworks in the main arena.
It’s always a busy but exciting day, so please come prepared for a full shift and a large crowd.
