Health on the Streets Christmas Appeal - There’s still time to give 🎄

As Christmas draws near, our team are reminded of how even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference to the lives of people in our community.

Our clients and the people we support on the streets, in parks, at our hubs, wherever care is needed - appreciate these donations. If you’re able, there is still time to support our Christmas Appeal and help bring a little comfort to those who need it most.

Ways you can help:
1. Donate gifts or essential items
2. Make a small financial contribution
Or simply share this appeal so it can reach more people

Thank you to everyone who has already given, and to those who are considering it. Every little bit helps, and it is always deeply appreciated.

Coffs Harbour Christmas Party ! ✨🎄

Our Coffs Harbour Christmas Party was full of fun from start to finish, with participants creating beautiful hand-decorated baubles, our Christmas tree getting completely glammed up, and everyone coming together for a group photo featuring our COS team, DSWs, Independent Workers, and participants. We even captured a fun behind-the-scenes moment of Tracy and Sunny carefully moving the freshly decorated tree back to the office!

It was a wonderful party and thanks to everyone who joined in and made it so special.

Wishing our Coffs community a warm and wonderful festive season! 🎅✨

Announcing Our New Chair & Deputy Chair

We’re delighted to introduce the new leadership of the Coast & Country Primary Care Board following our 2025 AGM.

Chair – Julia Squire

British by birth and Australian by choice, Julia brings 38 years of leadership experience including 25 years as a CEO and 20 years in non-executive roles. With a career spanning the UK NHS and Australia’s public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, Julia has dedicated much of her work to primary care, disability, mental health, and supporting vulnerable communities.

A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Julia joined the CCPC Board in 2022, became Deputy Chair in 2023, and is now honoured to continue contributing to CCPC’s mission as Chair.

Julia is currently a CEO in the disability and employment sector and an elected Director on the NDS Board. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family, walking her dogs, and watching soccer.

Deputy Chair – Larissa McIntyre

Larissa (Lara) joined the CCPC Board on 29 August 2018 and previously held the role of Deputy Chair for a one-year term starting 22 November 2023. The Board is thrilled to welcome her back to this role in 2026.

Lara is a Nurse Practitioner with over 35 years’ experience across hospitals, community health, aged care, population health, research, and state health leadership. With extensive operational experience and multiple post-graduate qualifications, Lara brings strong clinical expertise to the Board.

She is a Board representative on the CCPC Clinical Governance Committee and actively contributes to national and state bodies, including ARIIA and the ACI End of Life and Palliative Care Executive Committee. Lara also has a conjoint appointment with the University of Newcastle and is passionate about palliative care, advanced care planning, and research.

Outside of work, Lara enjoys surf lifesaving on the Central Coast and time with her family (and their three dogs and cat!).

We’re excited for the leadership, wisdom, and commitment that Julia and Lara bring to CCPC as we continue working towards healthier, more connected communities. 💙
