Here are a few simple tips to improve your squat:
• Find your natural stance (play with foot width and toe angle)
• Keep your chest tall and stay controlled through the movement
• Let your knees travel naturally over your toes
• Focus on depth you can control.
• Stay balanced through your whole foot (not just heels or toes)

Sprint training is crucial in protecting players from hamstring injuries. A recent study found that players who performed more high-speed sprinting during the final four weeks of preseason had a lower risk of hamstring injuries.

A well-structured preseason with adequate sprint exposure, load monitoring, and individualised training may help reduce hamstring injury risk throughout the season.
