Dear Valued Patients,

Thank you for trusting Tumbarumba Medical Practice with your healthcare needs. We deeply appreciate your support and understanding as we work to provide the best possible care for our community.

We would like to address a couple of important matters to ensure our practice continues to run smoothly and efficiently.

Firstly, we kindly ask all patients to check in with our reception team upon arrival at the practice. Recently, we experienced an incident where a patient remained unmarked as arrived because they were seated out of sight from reception. To prevent this from happening again, please walk up to the reception desk when you arrive to be marked as present. This also provides an opportunity to update your contact details if needed. While we understand many of you are familiar to our team, implementing this step will help us manage our workflow better and ensure you are seen promptly by your doctor.

Secondly, we have noticed an increase in missed appointments despite reminders being sent. As our doctors are often fully booked 3 to 4 days in advance, these no-shows delay care for others who may urgently need to see a doctor. We kindly request that if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, you inform us as soon as possible. Providing ample notice allows us to offer the appointment to another patient in need and helps our team manage bookings effectively.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to improve our services for everyone. If you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our friendly staff.
