🌱 A little lawn love goes a long way 🌱

At ONESTEP SUPPORT, we’re the first to admit we’re far from professional landscapers — no fancy gear, no perfect lines, and definitely no awards for gardening.

But what we are is willing to help where we can.
When a participant’s lawn or outdoor area becomes overgrown and starts to feel overwhelming, we’ll roll up our sleeves and do our best to bring it back to a manageable state.

That might mean clearing long grass, tidying pathways, or helping restore an outdoor space so it feels safer and more usable again.

We’re also upfront and honest. If something is beyond our skills, equipment, or safe capacity, we’ll say so. Our focus is always on doing what’s appropriate, achievable, and in the participant’s best interests.

It’s not about perfection it’s about practical support, dignity, and comfort. We’ll tackle overgrown areas to the best of our ability, with care, respect, and transparency every step of the way.

It has been a privilege to walk alongside you supporting goals, celebrating achievements (big and small), and being part of your everyday journeys. Your resilience, strength, and individuality continue to inspire our team.

To our dedicated support workers, thank you for the compassion, professionalism, and heart you bring to your roles every day. Your commitment makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you do.

✨ NOW HIRING – MALE SUPPORT WORKER (GOSFORD AREA) ✨

ONESTEP SUPPORT – South End Central Coast

ONESTEP SUPPORT is expanding, and we’re looking for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Male Support Worker (mid-20s to late-30s) to join our team and support a participant located around the Gosford area.

We proudly support and celebrate diversity, and strongly encourage applications from the LGBTQIA+ community.

🌟 About the Role

You will be supporting a participant with:

Community Access

Developing Daily Living & Life Skills

Building confidence, independence, and routine

Regular Hours:

Thursdays – 4 hours
(Shift time alternates depending on the week)

Additional Potential:

Occasional weekend support as required

Potential for additional hours as rapport and needs grow

💡 About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Male, ideally mid-20s to late-30s

Located near Gosford / South End Central Coast

Reliable, patient, and empowering

Comfortable supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals

Passionate about community inclusion and skill building

Holds (or is willing to obtain):

NDIS Worker Screening

Working With Children Check

First Aid & CPR

Driver’s Licence + reliable vehicle

Relevant experience or Cert III/IV (highly desirable)

Today we had the pleasure of supporting our participant during her equine therapy session. These sessions offer so many beautiful benefits, confidence building, emotional regulation, connection, and of course plenty of calming moments with the horses.
