Hello good people! Just thought I’d pop on here to share a few thoughts that resonate really well with me as a Creative Arts Therapist. It’s an important distinction to note that using ‘art’ in its many forms (painting, drawing, sculpture, clay, dance, drama, storytelling, music, etc) is not being used to measure or judge a final product or outcome. Rather, the creative arts are used to facilitate a process and a journey for the individual for self-awareness, self-reflection, healing and growth. It’s very much about the process! I hope you have the opportunity to delve into this fascinating process with me! Thank you to for sharing this post and wisdom. Please don’t hesitate to send me a message with any questions about our upcoming Women’s group (commencing Wed 10th February).
