Production/Support Worker - Permanent Part-Time (52hrs/fortnight)
Valmar Support Services is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to provide quality support services to people with disabilities, the frail aged and other disadvantaged members of the community to enable them to participate and integrate in the community.
A permanent part-time vacancy exists for a motivated Production/Support Worker, who will join our team and make a positive difference to people with a disability within Valmar’s Business Services team in Tumut.
The successful applicants must be willing to undertake a NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and hold an Australian Drivers Licence. It is desirable that you have a current First Aid Certificate and hold or willing to undertake training towards a Certificate III or IV in Community Services. Also desirable, Forklift and HR Licence, experience in timber processing, recycling or FOGO, ability to operate a loader & skid steer mobile plant, previous experience in the disability industry.
Essential:
Willingness to work across all Business Services including Timber Mill, Recycling and FOGO
Willing to complete a medical
Be prepared to work weekends upon request or part of a fixed roster
Work as part of a team
Commitment to working with employees with a disability
Mechanical experience or skills
Efficient computer skills
