Are you passionate about supporting people to live meaningful, independent lives? Valmar is looking for dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our High Support Accommodation team. We currently have two permanent part time roles available:
• 60 hrs per fortnight (40hrs Gundagai/20hrs Tumut)
• 40 hrs per fortnight (Gundagai /Tumut)
In this role, you’ll support clients with daily living, personal care, social and community activities, while creating a safe, supportive home environment.
We’re Looking For People Who Have:
• A genuine commitment to person centred support

We currently have a vacancy for a motivated, empathetic, and compassionate Senior Support - Case Worker to join our Aged Care Services team in Tumut, Gundagai and the surrounding region.
In this rewarding position, you will support the Coordinator in the day‑to‑day delivery of Community Aged & Transport Services under CHSP, Home Care Packages, brokerage, and transport programs. You will develop Individual Client Care Plans, assist clients, and mentor staff across a range of supports including personal care, domestic assistance, social support (individual and group), respite, community transport, and Meals on Wheels. The role plays a key part in fostering a safe, respectful, and responsive environment that empowers clients to live independently with dignity.

Successful applicants must be willing to undertake a Criminal Record Check and hold an Australian Drivers Licence. It is desirable that you have a current First Aid Certificate and hold or willing to undertake training towards a Certificate IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) or a related field, with a willingness to undertake further relevant training.

Valmar Support Services is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to provide quality support services to people with disabilities, the frail aged and other disadvantaged members of the community to enable them to participate and integrate in the community.

Two permanent full-time vacancies exist for motivated Production Workers, who will join our team and make a positive difference to people with a disability within Valmar’s Business Services team in Tumut.

The successful applicants must be willing to undertake a NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) and hold an Australian Drivers Licence. It is desirable that you have a current First Aid Certificate and hold or willing to undertake training towards a Certificate III or IV in Community Services. Also desirable, Forklift and HR licence, experience in timber processing, recycling or FOGO, ability to operate a loader & skid steer mobile plant, previous experience in the disability industry.

Valmar Support Services is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality support services to people with disabilities, aged care services, community transport, and supported employment.
We’re looking for an experienced and qualified Senior Support Worker (Rostering) to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. Based in Tumut, this vital role supports the smooth day-to-day operation of our community-based home care programs, including transport services in our regional areas.

This is a dynamic role that combines direct participant support with operational and leadership responsibilities. You’ll mentor support workers and trainees, manage staff schedules, and contribute to service planning and delivery. The role also includes maintaining accurate rosters to ensure timely and appropriate service provision, supporting billing and reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with program guidelines such as Support at Home - Home Care Packages (HCP) and Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).

Successful applicants must be willing to undertake an NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check and hold an Australian Drivers Licence. You must also have a current First Aid Certificate and possess at least a Certificate IV in Aged Services or another relevant qualifications, or a post-secondary qualification in a related discipline.

Use your experience across all phases of policy and grants development and management to deliver better outcomes and improvements. Valmar Support Services Ltd is seeking an experienced and dedicated policy and grants officer to join a progressive and supportive organisation.
In this role, the policy and grants advisor is responsible for developing, reviewing and maintaining organisational policies and procedures in line with current legislation, standards and best practice. The position also identifies, prepares and monitors grants aligned to Valmar’s strategic direction and organisational priorities.

The role can be based in our Deakin office in Canberra, ACT or Valmar's head office in Tumut, NSW.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development, evaluation and review of organisational policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current legislation, standards and best practice.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to align policy with organisational priorities, including engaging with internal and external stakeholders across the sector.
• Act as a knowledge hub, communicating policy updates internally and externally, and provide policy training and support to staff.
• Manage the Valmar Policy Committee meetings, agenda and action items.
• Conduct research and analysis on current and emerging issues and provides strategic advice to support policy development and anticipate future policy challenges and opportunities.
• Identify new grant opportunities and prepare grant submissions, expressions of interest, funding proposals and correspondence.
• Maintain a grants calendar and monitor application deadlines, deliverables and reporting requirements.
• Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace and continuous improvement culture.

What You’ll Bring
• Tertiary qualifications in health policy, public health, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Appropriate and applicable experience in a similar field.
• Capabilities and strong knowledge of policy management and grants administration in a support services setting.
