It was a lovely opportunity for residents and leadership to connect, sharing stories, listening with care, and enjoying time together in the heart of the community.

🌸 A Heartfelt Thank You to Sandy 🌸

We’re so proud to share a touching message of gratitude from the family of one of our clients, recognising the incredible care and advocacy shown by our Care Assistant, Sandy.

💬 "I would like to pass on our thanks to your Nurse Sandy. When my mother was ill recently, Sandy advocated for her and insisted that the ambulance drivers take her to the hospital. She was in a very poor state with gallstones causing infection, liver damage and her kidneys to shut down. She is only now getting better. We firmly believe that Nurse Sandy and the wonderful staff at John Hunter Hospital have saved her life. Would you please send our thanks to Nurse Sandy."

In appreciation, the family gifted Sandy a beautiful bouquet, a small gesture of their immense gratitude. 🌷
