Jenny and Joanna were out and about together today, presenting on “self regulation” at Mater Dei College Wagga. Thanks for having us!

I love a good collab! Today Jenny Robertson OT and I had the pleasure of providing a workshop about self-regulation to an amazing group of teaching assistants. Thankyou for hosting us. Such a great engaged group to work with.

Thank you Jordy for all the work you have done for us over the past couple of years as our team assistant carrying out various admin and OT assistant tasks. Jordy is the queen of Canva-we would have been lost without her skills in creating therapy visuals! Jordy is also going on to her third year as an OT student and we look forward to hearing where her career takes her. All the best and Thankyou Jordy!

A MESSAGE FROM JO: A huge thank you to our community and my wonderful team as I (Jo) move into a new phase of work and life. From this Friday, Bidgee Kids OT will be closing in its current group practice model and returning to a simpler solo-therapist format. This change allows me to better balance my work as an OT with the needs of my family.

I will continue working locally with my current clients and will also continue my online consulting with parents and OTs through Joanna Caton OT- Connect To Grow. I’m very grateful that our other clients will continue to be supported by my colleagues, Jenny Robertson and Kathleen Belling, in their own private practices. You’ll receive emails shortly to ensure a smooth transition.

The past 12 years at Bidgee Kids OT have been incredible. Together we’ve hosted students, introduced innovative services and group programs, navigated the NDIS, worked through lockdowns, and supported hundreds of local families. I am deeply grateful to the families and team members who have been part of this journey. While there are too many people to name, I must especially acknowledge Jenny Robertson, my right hand for much of this journey—thank you, Jen.

What’s next? I’m excited to be part of the Bidgee OT Collective alongside Jenny Robertson and Kathleen Belling, with support from Kelly Murray. You’ll hear more about this very soon.

Our beautiful Darcie had her last day with us before moving to Melbourne. Thank you so much Darcie for all of your incredible dedication and OT skill that we were lucky enough to experience. We can’t wait to see your next steps! 💕

the BlendEd online school designed as an option for Highschoolers with School Can’t is going National. You may be interested in attending their online information in a couple of days.

BlendED National will launch in Tasmania in January 2026. We are an inclusive, trauma-informed online learning community for Years 7–10.

Jo and Jen joined allied health professionals from around the region to attend the Allied Health Forum on Saturday. Such a great event for learning and connecting with colleagues.
