🌿 Meet the Team: William Innes

We’re delighted to introduce William Innes, one of our compassionate Family Service Advisors who has been part of our team at Tweed Head Memorial Gardens for around six months.

In his role, William supports families during one of the most sensitive and challenging times in their lives. He works closely with them as they navigate the cremation process and explore the different memorial options available within our gardens. From guiding families through each step, to creating formal agreements once a location is chosen, William is a steady source of clarity, care, and support.

When asked what he enjoys most about his work, William shared that it’s the meaningful time spent with families, hearing the heartfelt stories about their loved ones and learning about the wonderful people they were. It’s this human connection and shared storytelling that he finds truly rewarding.

Outside of work, William recharges by spending quality time with his own family. He’s also a big fan of golf and loves settling in to watch a good game of sport on the weekend.

We’re grateful to have William as part of our team, bringing empathy, professionalism, and genuine kindness to every family he meets. 💛

🌿 Qing Ming Festival (清明节) 🌿

Today we observe Qing Ming, a meaningful day dedicated to honouring ancestors, remembering loved ones, and reflecting on the legacy they leave behind.

Families come together to visit ancestral resting places, offer prayers, and express gratitude for those who came before us. It’s a moment to pause, reconnect with our roots, and appreciate the values and memories passed through generations.

May this Qing Ming bring peace, remembrance, and a deep sense of connection to family and heritage. 🕊️✨

✝️ Good Friday

Today we pause to reflect on the profound meaning of Good Friday, a day that reminds us of ultimate sacrifice, unwavering love, and the hope that rises even in our darkest moments.

As we move through this solemn day, may we find space for gratitude, compassion, and quiet reflection. May its message of grace and renewal carry us into Easter with hearts open and hopeful.

Wishing everyone observing a peaceful and meaningful Good Friday. 🤍

🌼 Hello, April!
Did you know the daisy is one of April’s birth flowers? These bright, cheerful blooms symbolise innocence, purity, and true love making them the perfect way to welcome the fresh start
Derived from the Old English “day’s eye,” daisies open with the sun and close at night, beautifully reflecting themes of new beginnings and gentle optimism. Together with sweet peas, they’re a favourite choice for celebrating April birthdays and all the light, hope, and joy this month brings. 🌞✨

🌼 Here’s to a month filled with renewal, warmth, and little moments of beauty.

🌿 Palm Sunday Blessings 🌿

Today we remember the humble and hope‑filled entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, a moment that marks the beginning of Holy Week and invites us to reflect on peace, faith, and renewal.

As we carry our own “palms” into the week ahead, may we be reminded of the power of gentleness, the strength found in compassion, and the hope that new beginnings bring. 💛

Wishing everyone observing a meaningful and peaceful Palm Sunday.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we honour the women who shape our lives, those who walk beside us and those whose memories continue to guide us.

Their strength, compassion, and courage live on in the stories we share and the love they leave behind. 💜

Here’s to every woman, past and present, who has made the world a kinder place.
