🌿 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐞 (𝐍𝐨𝐯–𝐃𝐞𝐜 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞) 🌿

I’m grateful to have contributed to the November–December 2025 issue of Hoofbeats magazine, in the feature article “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” 𝐛𝐲 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐨𝐧.

Alongside 𝐃𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧, a compassionate veterinarian who shared her perspective on the challenges of euthanasia from both a medical standpoint and how this difficult time can affect horse owners, I offered insights from my work as an 𝐄𝐧𝐝-𝐨𝐟-𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐬; supporting horse owners through preparation, presence, and gentle aftercare when it’s time to say goodbye.
