A closer look at the person behind the clinical expertise.

Dr Kevin Le is part of our specialist team at Ulladulla Endoscopy. Along with his work in gastroenterology and endoscopy, he provides a range of minor surgical such as no-scalpel technique vasectomy and complex skin grafts.

Outside of medicine Kevin is an active member of the community. In April 2025 he competed in the Terra Nova 24 Adventure Race in Huskisson, a non stop 24 hour event involving trekking, mountain biking and kayaking across more than 120 kilometres. Training for events like this keeps him grounded, focused and connected to the region he serves.

We are proud to have Kevin delivering trusted, locally based care for families across the South Coast.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting a smooth patient experience. VASECTOMY – consider the no scalpel technique!

A no-scalpel vasectomy has become a popular option for many men as a means of birth control. At our Ulladulla Centre, Dr Kevin Le (pictured) uses the no-scalpel technique.

It is minimally invasive and effective. It requires no stitches, so post op pain is minimal and recovery is faster.

Vasectomy is the most efficient form of permanent male contraception available with a failure rate of less than 0.1%.

Costs for this procedure are affordable at the centre and private health insurance can be used. There is no need to travel out of the area making it very convenient for patients.

You can book an appointment without a referral by calling the Ulladulla Endoscopy and Medical Centre on 4455 5422 and asking for a vasectomy assessment with Dr Le.

BOWEL CANCER IN YOUNG PEOPLE IS ON THE RISE!
The number of people under 50 years being diagnosed with bowel cancer is rising globally with Australia reporting the highest rate of early onset bowel cancer among 50 countries, according to new international research. Over the past five years there has been an increase in early-onset colorectal cancer in younger adults.
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death.
It is believed changes in diet and more sedentary lifestyle may have contributed to this generation shift in CRC.
Dr Jessie Hoang of Ulladulla Endoscopy & Medical Centre says not to delay in talking to your GP if you are experiencing any warning symptoms ... • Abdominal pain or lumps
• Re**al bleeding or blockages • Change in bowel habits or continued diarrhoea •Tiredness or weight loss.
She said symptoms in young patients shouldn’t be ignored and they may need to be assertive in asking for further testing such as a colonoscopy.
Dr Jessie Hoang said when diagnosed early almost 99 % of cases can be successfully treated.
