Such a day of celebration today we also celebrate World Down Syndrome Day!

The 21st of March is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012.

WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.

So get out your orange shirts and Rainbow socks today as we celebrate diversity, inclusion and the end of stereotypes!

The Board of Rainbow Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Philip Kinney as CEO of Rainbow Club commencing on 3 July 2023.

The appointment comes after a thorough executive search process undertaken by the Board Chair and Chair of the People and Culture Committee to identify a new CEO following the retirement of Catriona Barry on 30 June 2023.

Mr Kinney has extensive experience working in senior positions across government and not-for-profit organisations, including the National Disability Insurance Association, most recently as National Director, Aust/NZ for Operation Christmas Child, a not-for-profit organisation that delivers donated gifts to children in need around the world.
