Horse Riding is BACK for Term 2!

We are so excited to announce that our Horse Riding Program is returning for Term 2, starting Wednesday 22nd April!

This beautiful experience is all about connection, confidence, and getting out into nature. Whether it’s your first time around horses or you’re already in love with them, this is such a special opportunity to build skills, independence and friendships in a safe and supportive environment.

What to expect:
• Guided horse riding sessions
• Hands-on interaction with the horses (brushing, leading & bonding)
• A calm, inclusive and supportive atmosphere
• Social connection with like-minded participants

Perfect for NDIS participants looking to build confidence, try something new, and be part of something meaningful.

Limited spots available
Transport options may be available

We are incredibly proud to be part of bringing The Crippling Plovers – All Abilities Rugby Union Team to the Shoalhaven community.

What started as a vision has quickly grown into something truly special, a space where people of all abilities can come together, feel included, build confidence, and form genuine connections.

It is an absolute privilege to support something that is not only about sport, but about breaking barriers, creating opportunities, and building a strong, inclusive community

Seeing participants, families, and support networks come together on the field has already shown us the powerful impact this team will have.

Ride & Rise Mondays

The first few weeks of our Ride & Rise Mondays program have been nothing short of beautiful. Our participants have been spending time doing groundwork, getting to know the horses, building trust, confidence, and meaningful connections.
There’s something special about slowing down, being present with these incredible animals, and watching relationships grow week by week.

And of course… it wouldn’t be a proper Monday without our coffee and lunch catch-up afterwards.
After every session we head out together to relax, chat and socialise, because building community is just as important as building skills.

At Connect Us Care, we love bringing people together, and honestly… what better way to do it than with horses and food.

Our little community is growing and we couldn’t love it more.

We are looking at opening up more spaces, although it will be limited.

ONLY ONE SPOT LEFT – Ride & Rise Mondays horse riding program.

We are so incredibly excited to share that our community-based horse-riding sessions in Ulladulla have almost filled!

We now have just ONE spot remaining in our beautiful Ride & Rise Mondays program.

This small group has been intentionally created to ensure:
• Personalised support
• Calm, nurturing environment
• Meaningful connection
• Confidence-building experiences

Whether it’s riding, brushing, groundwork or simply spending time around the horses, every participant is included in a way that feels safe and empowering

If you have been considering this for someone you support, now is the time. We would absolutely love to fill this final place with someone who will benefit from building confidence, emotional regulation, strength and connection in nature.
