On Saturday, our young adults were a part of the Ulverstone Christmas Parade 🛷🤶🎅 Smiles as wide as their face 😆 and Merry Christmas ringing above the Christmas music 🎵 Penny, Logyn and myself couldn’t have been any prouder 😍 All the hard work was worth every minute spent on the ‘back of the sleigh’ 🛷 Thanks to the parents for all their support 🫶🏽👏🏼🎄always appreciated 🩵

International Day of People with a Disability 🫶🏽❤️ Let’s just take a moment a consider how important our participants are in our lives and the joy to bring to so many 🙌🏻🥰
Can you match the personality to the young person we get to support daily 🤔😂 Here goes;
💙 Likes to occasionally watch and listen to the Wiggles? Enjoys a Lemonade and a meat pie ?
💚Loves anything to do with Wicked the movie, colouring in, listening to music 🎶 and volunteering for the local football team ?
💛 Richmond football club is a favourite, enjoys Pepsi Max and has knows everything there is to know about trains 🚂
❤️ Spider-Man is a favourite, throwing rocks into the water, singing and performing on stage ?
🩷 Katy Perry is always popular, butterflies, the colour purple and dancing on stage ?👯‍♀️
💜 Anime and a sneaky trip to McDonalds always popular, along with LEGO

Giving back time for Ben this week !! 🫶🏽💰💰 Thanks to all those who snapped up one of Ben’s bird houses he has made with the help of Malcolm at the Latrobe Men’s shed 🙌🏻 This week we resumed making the ‘last’ batch of houses and proudly handed over the money received 😆 On offer again, 4 only, ‘small’ bird houses for $20. All money going directly back to the men again 👏🏼 Get in touch if you would love one for your garden !! Great work yet again Ben ✔️👍🏼

Birthday week comes to an end today but what a day /week Frances had had … 🌷🌷🌷 Frances made all the decisions how she wanted to celebrate with her friends and I think the smiles tell how exciting the week was for her … Happy 20th Birthday Frances G 🌻🎂🎉🎈

Celebrating the incredible Ben today!! ☺️👏🏼
Ben is currently training hard as he is participating in a half marathon in NZ 🇦🇺✈️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️ in November 🤗 Not long now till he jets off 👋 So today we focused on making healthy snacks to have after he trains or a sneaky treat during the day !! Sadly for Ben, he had to tolerate how Yvette cooks without a recipe and ‘throw it all together’ 😩😂 Well, after the first taste test, we both agreed today was a success 🥣🤪 Great job today chef 🤩

Bang your hands together 👏🏼 for our superstar Amos 🫶🏽🤩👏🏼👏🏼 What a star he was today performing in his schools play, Wind in the Willows 🫶🏽🐸🦊🐰 A beautiful play that Amos has spent considerable time rehearsing🎬🎤🗣️🤗 super proud of you Mos, think the smile says everything 🙂☺️

Time for a smile 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Last night some of our incredible young adults came together to participate in the St Luke's Light Night Glow Run 💫🏃🏃🏃 A meal together beforehand was enjoyed, then off they went!! Lit up like small Christmas trees 🎄🎄 thanks Leanne Smith they participated in a range of distances with big smiles on their faces and lots of pride 👌🤗 Just to cap it off, presented with a medal 😉🏅🏅🏅 for participating!!! What a night was had by all and a huge Thanks to Penny Shaw for organsining and yet again offering amazing opportunities for our participants ♥️♥️
PS If you have never done it or witnessed this event, get about it next year, incredible!!
