Founded in 2015 by Annette Mace, Set Free To Soar is an organisation that combines public speaking engagements and Life Coaching, to see people set free from whatever is currently holding them down - mental, physical, spiritual, emotional... Annette's heart is set on seeing people soar in the freedom of God's Love! Annette draws wisdom and practicality from her own personal experience with debilitating health issues that lasted over five years. Sharing her experiences of the darkness of depression and the agony of chronic illness, Annette shines the light on the infinite possibilities of our Heavenly Father and how tough times are not the end, but in fact the beginning of a glorious life of strength and joy! Who are you?
Who am I?
I am KNOWN as many things.....
I am a wife, a mum, a mother in law, and a granny
I am a daughter, a sister, an aunty, a niece, a cousin and a friend
But, who I am is not the relationships in my life
I am a Life Coach, a Guest Speaker, and an Author
But, who I am is not what I do
I am also known as the Chronic Fatigue sufferer, and
The miracle woman
But, I am not what has happened to me
So, where does that leave me?
Who am I when everything has been stripped away
Who are you?
Let me tell you who you are not!
you are NOT your profession
You are NOT your diagnosis
You are NOT what has happened to you
So, let me give you a glimpse of who you REALLY are, and who you can choose to be
You ARE a child of God
You ARE a child of the King
You ARE royalty
You ARE loved
You ARE forgiven
You ARE valued
You ARE the beloved of your Heavenly Father
Let's choose to live free from all that has happened to us
Let's choose to no longer be a victim of our past
Let's live in the secure knowledge of what being a child of God REALLY means

Are you in a waiting season?
This message may be for you…..

I feel there are people who have been in a waiting season for what seems like forever.
I hear God saying to you,
“Continue to believe Me.
Continue to believe IN Me.
I will not let you down.
Do not let your faith fail.
Do not let your hope be deferred.
My plans are timed perfectly.
Just wait and see,
My timing will be perfect for you too.”

The truth is....
God does not DECEIVE, - He is not into teasing or playing games with us.
He does not FORGET the promises He has made,
and neither does He change His mind about fulfilling them.

Never forget…..
Nothing takes God by surprise.
Nothing happens that He is not aware of.
Whatever battle you might be in right now,
God is aware of it.
The enemy thinks he’s got control
- but he hasn’t.
Man thinks he has everything worked out
- but he doesn’t.
God is the One who is Sovereign.
God is the One who is in control.
The battle you are in belongs to the Lord.

It’s easy to praise God when everything is going well.
It is much, much harder to rally our spirit to praise God when we’re angry and confused, heartbroken and disappointed, because life (or the enemy) throws a huge curveball at us.
I get better at it when I intentionally change my perspective from my current circumstances to focusing on who God is and what He does. Then I can begin to thank Him in advance for what He is going to do in my life, and my praise becomes so much more genuine.

I love walking off the beaten track to get to a place I've never been before to appreciate a view I've never seen before.
I love looking at the clouds as they move across the sky.
I absolutely LOVE a good thunderstorm, with the lightening lighting up the outdoors and the thunder booming overhead.
I could sit on the beach watching the ocean for hours.
I love watching and listening to the rain.
I love swimming, I love going for a walk.
I love my family, my husband, my children and our grandchildren.
I love the people God has placed in my life.
And I love God.
Reflecting on everything I love, especially on a tough day, reminds me that my life is not only good but great.

Waiting can be so burdensome.
Hang in there.
Stand firm.
God can be trusted.
I mean......just look at His track record!
He ALWAYS comes through for us.
Of course, it may not always look like we imagined.
Regardless of how long we wait,
He is even in the waiting,
and, we can be guaranteed that the wait will be worth it.
