On Friday afternoon, our NSW team joined the Murra Yarra Healing Walk in Wagga Wagga. With clear skies above, we walked together in quiet strength to honour and remember our loved ones lost to su***de.

There are no perfect words to describe how days like these help us grieve and heal — as individuals, as families, and as a community.

Being on Country, surrounded by mob, sharing yarns and holding space for one another, reminds us we are not alone in our grief.

Thank you to the Wagga Wagga community for welcoming us so warmly, and a big congratulations to Yamandhu Marang for hosting such a beautiful event.

We carry our loved ones with us — always. ❤️

The Thirrili national team came together from across the country for a meaningful gathering — a time to learn, reflect, celebrate our shared achievements, strengthen relationships, and share knowledge.

We remain committed to the important work in community, this gathering gave our team the space to share ways of working and build on our connections.

Grateful for the conversations, the honesty, the joy, and the collective commitment to doing better — for each other and for the communities we serve.

This week, we celebrated Kaurna Day 2026: Tirkanthi – Ngutu – Taikurrinthi (Learning – Knowledge – Be United Together) at the Kaurna Learning Circle and Barr Smith Lawns.

Thirrili's South Australian team joined their community for an incredible day of storytelling, dance, music, workshops, student showcases, community stalls and performances by First Nations artists. It was a meaningful day of connection, learning and unity.

Our team will continue to be out and about in community over the coming months building connections, sharing information and walking alongside mob. If you see us at an event or in community, please come over for a yarn. 👋🏾

Rest is not a luxury — it’s cultural strength, resistance, and restoration!

Re-sharing this powerful piece from Belle Selkirk. Our people carry grief, racism, and collective fatigue, this column reminds us that there are many ways to rest, reconnect, recover, and restore balance within ourselves.

Take a moment. Read. Reflect. Rest. 🤍
