When the BTS looks 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 🍒💦🤤

Lush Spring florals, stunning caladiums, vibrant tapers and over a dozen boxes and crates of produce completely took over my garage and house prepping for S & H’s wedding day!
Hours (and HOURS) of wiring went into garlands of apples, cherries, chillies, broad beans, strawberries and more, before building mounds and towers of dragonfruit, plums, artichokes, limes, pumpkins pre prepared off site and playful watermelon sculptures on site 🍉🫛🍒🍋‍🟩🍓

At this point I’m not sure if I’m a florist - or a food artist who occasionally dabbles in florals 😆👏🏽

Big thank you to my my incredible team that helped bring this vision to life ✨

If you’re struggling to picture what you want your wedding ceremony to actually look like… 👀

Then HERE - try this look on for size 💚🌺🍉

We designed this for Shehani + Hareesh’s wedding - not for one, but for two back-to-back ceremonies (Hindu + civil).
A perfect example that tradition never has to override your personal style or desire for a ceremony aesthetic that feels unapologetically “you” 🫶🏼

This look embraced the trending green + burgundy palette, but with a playful pink twist - built around the best of mid–late Spring florals and our usual contemporary design approach: colour-blocking, contrasts in height and scale, delicious layers of texture and fruity accents 👌🏽

HOW CAN YOU NOT ADORE THIS?
Ethereal and romantic with a playful sculptural flair, set against the fountain at Oatlands Estate - it was a gorgeous moment ❤️‍🔥

Our 2026 wedding calendar is filling fast, with limited dates remaining from April onwards! 🏃🏽‍♀️
If you’d love our creative style to shape your wedding florals and aesthetic vibe, send us an enquiry via the link in our IG bio 💌

A real PINCH ME moment 🥹

To be named one of ‘Top 21 Florists in Australia’ this year feels completely surreal!

This business has come so far in such a short time - what started as a dream is now being recognised alongside some of the most incredible florists that I’ve looked up to and admired for years.

It’s one thing to feel the love from couples and supporters - but to be acknowledged and celebrated by industry leaders and peers in the wedding space hits differently ❤️‍🔥

I am quite the perfectionist and my own worst critic - so when the imposter syndrome creeps in, this will serve as a reminder to trust my creative process - and know that what I create and offer can hold its own 😌

The colour palette that’s defined our 2025 so far…

BLUE + GREEN 💚🩵💙
Completely obsessed - I can’t get enough of this combo! 🤌🏽

Swipe for a full gallery of this iconic palette in action 👉🏼 (and right to the end for the ULTIMATE blue and green aesthetic! 💥😏)

Huge thanks to and our bold, colour-loving couples for giving us so many chances to design and create with these vibrant hues so far this year 🙏🏽

Never have I hunted for blue hydrangea quite as much as I did between March and May - and thankfully, I struck gold every time! 😮‍💨😆

Hot tip: If you’re dreaming of a cool-toned palette for your wedding day or event, plan for late spring through mid-autumn - as that’s when blue and green blooms and botanical textures are at their most plentiful, and you’ll be spoiled for choice! 🤌🏽

Feeling inspired? Save this post for your mood board and head to the link in our bio to enquire about bringing this palette (or any, really) to life for your special day or upcoming event 💌

LILAC 💜
Here for a good time, not a long time 🥲

It’s wild to think it’s only been two and a half weeks since I created this design - back when lilac was just coming into bloom… and yet at today’s flower markets, it was nowhere to be found 😩

Not only is its season heartbreakingly short, but its life as a cut flower isn’t great either - this design only lasted two or three days before all the lilac had wilted ☠️

Still… how can you not love it?! 💜
It blooms in the most delicious shades of pastel, vibrant, and deep purples (and white), smells absolutely divine, and works beautifully as a textural, sculptural, or soft focal flower in all kinds of designs. Plus, since it grows as a bush - its branches are perfect for larger-scale arrangements too 👏🏽

So I guess what I’m saying is… If you’re planning a wedding for mid-October (mid-spring) - then maybe you should think about a purple-inspired palette 😉

Anyone else a lilac lover? 💜

Something pretty EXCITING happened this past week… We hit 10K followers! 🍸 CHEERS to that!

A huge thank you to every single one of you along the way, who’s been drawn to what I do and create. The fact that you find my work worth a follow truly means the world to me 🥹

I’ve sacrificed more than most will ever know to get this business to where it is today. Some days, I feel like burning it all to the ground 🙃 … and other days, I have to pinch myself that people love what I create and trust me to do this for their most meaningful milestone occasions in their lives 🥹

What makes it even more special is that I genuinely love what I do - and I know that’s something not everyone gets to say about their work 💚

So, it feels only right to take a moment to reflect (very briefly!) on the humbling journey that brought me here 😅…

2–3: This biz began back in my yacht stewardess days (pre-2021) - this IG page actually started as a yacht tablescape account! When I left the yachting world and returned to “land life,” I didn’t want to give up this new love for florals & styling…
4–5: So, I enrolled at Pearson’s for my Cert III in Floristry and an online interior design course. (CRINGE at slide 5 - had to start somewhere 😅) Between that and work, something had to give - so the flowers won 🤷‍♀️
6–7: ‘Boujee Blooms & Styling’ was born in Dec 2022, fresh off my first proper portfolio job -my own wedding 🌺 Which soon led to…
8: My first few wedding bookings - all at the same venue 😆
9: In early 2023, I dabbled in retail bouquets too 😅 It didn’t last long, as I quickly learned I couldn’t be everything to everyone…
10–11: 2023 was all about getting the biz out there a honing my floristry and design skills, sharing tablescape inspo, and mastering those trendy reel transitions 🫠
12–14: We kicked off 2024 strong - more (+ larger scale) weddings, and I got a van! Mid-season we had to move AGAIN, but at least this time I had proper space for storage and prep (no more underground carpark setups 😅)

One year on, and this wedding is still one of my favourite design briefs to date 🤌🏽

Why? Because it was packed with thoughtful details that made Jackson & Harris’ day truly stand out:

🍊 The venue: The Cell Block Theatre and its adjacent courtyard at National Art School with its sandstone structure offered the perfect blank canvas for a sophisticated yet creative look - and such an ideal starting point for design inspiration.

🍊 The palette: A masculine mix of muted neutrals, warm fiery hues, botanical greens and moody chocolate & charcoal accents - it was a refreshing change up from the usual client palette go-to’s, and carefully curated for depth and balance.

🍊 The details: Inspired by the colour story, we introduced a touch of mid-century modern flair, styling thrifted vintage vases, vessels, and ashtrays throughout.

🍊 The florals: We only use Australian natives sparingly in our work, within the right context - and this was the right context! Seasonal blooms like waratah, pincushions, kangaroo paw, and crucifix orchids were layered with textural greens, luxe orchids, anthurium, and calla lilies, styled alongside sculptural produce. It was a VIBE.

🍊 The fashion: The grooms and their parties coordinated beautifully in tonal browns - as did many of their guests - perfectly tying the aesthetic together.

It was such a pleasure bringing this look to life alongside 🤎
…and these other incredible vendors:yiana
