Do you or someone you either live or work with have Autism? Have you considered what reasonable adjustments could look like in a work or educational space?

It's not uncommon for an autistic person to need an adjustment to ensure they can participate in the community with reduced barriers, but more often then not, go without because they don't want to stand out or appear to be getting special treatment.

What sort of adjustments have you seen?

Have a look at the attached post to see what some reasonable adjustments could look like for either yourself, or someone you know.

A local support service is running an open fun day for those aged 6 to 12.

Kids in this age bracket, often miss out on social and group activities due to a variety of factors including school, other out of school and family events.

This is an inclusive event that those without NDIS funding can attend, but please remember the importance of being respectful of all people in attendance.

Calling our 6 to 12yr olds. We are going to hold a day at the shed.

16th January 10am to 2pm!

Games, woodwork(pallet construction), cooking, and anything else we can fit in😎

You don't need ndis to join. There will be a small cost to assist in wages. If you're struggling with money, reach out, and we'll assist so your young person can attend.

Send Chris a message if you're interested

We look forward to starting a group that lots of young people can attend as we'll continue into the school term based on interest👍🏼

Several long weekends in 2025 for those who live in NSW. ✈️🎇🏝🏕

Make sure you plan ahead for any services or supports you may need or want, as many support services reduce their availability, or book out well in advance.

Therapies generally don't operate, and any admin based services including support coordination, won't be available on public holidays. ⏰️⏰️

The 2025 public holiday lineup is here 🙌 🗓️ Save this post so you’re ready to plan those long weekends👇
