In 2025, were the Corangamite Business Award winners for 'Tourism Excellence'. Do you have or know a business that deserves the 2026 award? There are 6 categories open this year, and 3 finalists are selected for each. Nominations are currently open - nominate a deserving business, it can be a local trade business, hospitality business, tourism, accommodation, ag business, recycler, collectable store, manufacturer, there are so many great businesses, let them know!

Do you have local insight on water, and are interested in sharing your knowledge and time?

Have your say on the future of water in western Victoria!
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is creating a new Western Region Sustainable Water Strategy and wants local insight to guide it.
They’re looking for people with knowledge or experience in water to join community working groups.
Your local insight will help shape plans to:
- Secure safe and reliable water supplies
- Use water more efficiently
- Protect rivers, wetlands and other important water places
What’s involved?
Working groups will meet around four to six times between now and the end of 2027. Meetings will be held in person and online so people from across the region can take part.
Expressions of interest close 16 March 2026.
