Since March 2024, thousands of women experiencing symptoms of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) have been able to access advice, assessment, and treatment from community pharmacies across the state.

If you think you might have a UTI, you can speak to your pharmacist about your symptoms and eligibility for the service.

These services complement those already available through GPs and other healthcare providers – giving you more options to get the health advice and care you need, quickly.

Ask your local pharmacist if they provide the service.

Back to work and feeling the insomnia, anxiety, tiredness and apathy? It's common. Try this to ease the transition:
✅ Create a buffer of time between coming home and going back to work.
✅ Make sure you have some quick, easy wins in your first week back.
✅ Keep up healthy habits like eating well, exercise, and getting enough sleep.
✅ Treat yourself with a new coffee mug, a desk plant, or some cool stationery!
✅ Jump into a group project and enjoy the creativity and collaboration.
✅ Brainstorm your first weeks and go back with renewed purpose and excitement.
✅ If there are other reasons for your dissatisfaction, make plan to work out some strategies with the HR department, Employee Assistance Program, or your GP.

All South Australians are able to access the flu vaccine for free at participating GPs and pharmacies until 30 June 2022.

Please be patient with staff at clinics and pharmacies as there is currently a high demand for vaccination.

If you are 65 years or over, you can visit selected SA Health vaccination clinics to have the free flu vaccine at the same time as your COVID-19 vaccine. Participating clinics are:

▪ Kilkenny
▪ Noarlunga
▪ Mt Gambier
▪ North Adelaide
▪ Port Augusta
▪ Wayville
▪ Whyalla.
